I really think Meta gen should place a bit higher priority on base bullet velocity when looking at the Long Range Meta. I've had to give up on the Bruen and MTZ 556 simply due to bullet velo. If you have a high ping lobby at all you can hit long range shots.
You can prioritize different stats on metagen on tonys site if you’d like to personalize it for yourself, I think Tony is tryna give videos that will apply to the largest amount of people
@@BuckMerlin I agree, but imo the vast majority of people don't have great aim or aim control so they benefit greatly from as close to hit scan bullets as possible. With the lower bullet velo, and considering this is for long range meta, it will be much harder to hit shots while leading them with guns with lower bullet velo. E.g. Bruen, MTZ 556, etc.
Thanks for your hard work man! May i suggest something? Is it possible, for each weapon/Magazine add the reload time efficiency of Sleight of hand? Now is rarely used as perk since the test made showed that this perk was reducing by really tiny amount of time the reload speed but it changes by the weapon you are using. Is it possible?
The amount of work that you have done in this space has had such a large impact. Not just for the pros, but also all the casual guys either chasing the meta, or trying to find a fun gun to use. Thank you my man : )
I think the way for you to have metagen prioritize the 30 round mag for the MTZ-762 is by adding a preference or priority to metagen for higher damage per mag up or at least up until a certain point, that way it can understand that 20 bullets is not enough.
They need to fix the servers... why do I die so damn quickly now? On my screen I die in 3shots... when I watch the kill cam the guys has been shooting me of a couple of seconds...I have a new Xbox and a fast connection. I get this is long range, but the 20-50m range is probably the most important range, unless you’re sniping and the RAM dominates this. I’d rather win all my mid range fights and risk losing my 50m+ fights. Until the RAM gets a close range nerf, I don’t see the META changing on either map.
The Sidewinder has reset issues, it does not center correctly. I really really wanted to use the MTZ556 on FK, but damn WAM7 just guns me every time. Tony, is the merch store ever going to come back? Great Video
Does your research tell you the average distance for most long range engagements? I’d say 40-60 is probably where most engagements take place but that’s just from feel and play. Curious if the research supports that.
Why is there no Marksman rifles in a long range meta video? If they are all have a lower score than what was presented ok, but could you at least say that they are? really leaves me wondering are they all useless that they aren't even mentioned?

I’ve been using the Bruen all the way through and wondered why it wasn’t being talked about all that much. I would try the meta’s that would being talked about and would always find myself going back. There is something to be said for having a solid gun, that you can learn the recoil pattern on and just feels comfortable. Always found it good at range.
I noticed after all the new updates the whole mw2 reticle not landing on where your center dot is aiming is back. I know they had fixed it with the new season so it appears it’s not functioning correctly.

This is just how it should be..LMG best in long-range but bad close up..Ar should be mid range while smg MUST beat both ar and LMG close up....ram7 is the only one beating sertaim smgs right now and they should nerf it up to 20m
Why does the RAM7 have one of the worst long range recoils on the base weapon but using the JakBFB and other recoil attachments I can get it to be more accurate than most other guns using similar builds? Is it because the base just has a larger magnitude than others but is actually less bouncy/more predictable?

Loving the new looks! 😎 For resurgence I run BP50 with long barrel, spirit supressor and high grain round. Of course its iron sight, but that gun is sweeeeet. Perfect subs for the RAM7.
Why there are 4 attachments? The fifth one is the Optic? What if we use the iron sight like Ram-7? What would be the best attachment for the fifth one?
High fire rate, makes it deadly. You have to drill ppl with it. But I was single tapping it yesterday across the skyscrapers and getting hit markers, it's not such a peashooter, the range is good
SVA i think is one of the best for long range atm, also instead of putting it into single fire i keep it in auto and you can burst it very similar to single fire. burst mid to long range and im still in auto in case anyone got extremely close.
SVA still loyal, does some crazy shit when you need it too. But I feel like it got nerfed. I’m still using the outdated WSP and SVA meta, haven’t been on for like a month since school started. So I noticed the aim assist doesn’t snap on as good when their running away, and my phone wsp swarm is shooting everywhere.
@@kevinb718 still my main go to SVA and WSP9. WSP i run sonic supp, Hiss short barrel, 50 mag, and either DR6 handstop or skeletal vertical( i have a setup with both) and mk3 sight/nydar. SVA vt-7, STV barrel, 5.45 high grain, 60 round and corio 2.5/slate.
Metagen is just wrong on how to build MWII guns as it fails to account for the main thing that holds back MWII guns, which is their horrendous visual recoil. For example the taqv, replace the muzzle with the casus brake, and replace the underbarrel with the bruen heavy support grip. That combo will drastically reduce the visual recoil for all MWII weapons.
Im not a fan of meta gen. Builds always seem to miss IMO. Prime example is the mtz 556 in this video i wouldnt use the suggested stock or the clinch barrel. theres a better option for both than those
Sad lifes really! talking about milliseconds when picking a gun but forgetting to mention the difference in peoples internet speed and connection may be all the difference. Just use what ever gun you comfortable with chat
I think the BP50 is completly overlooked here. It has a really good TTK and is an absolute laser (I have around 75-80% accurancy on 55 meters; far more than with an MTZ or Ram). Try the following build: - Sakin - Lore 9 Heavy - 45 Round - Optic - Moat 40 Stock. It has decent BV with around 900 as well. It is very fast regarding movement/ strafe speed and ads, so it is ultra snappy. And especially if you strafe on a head glitch it is very hard for opponents.
The ram either needs to get a close range nerf or a recoil increase. Right now it is just too easy to get that super low TTK out to 30 or 40 m and there's no point in using anything else.
These need to be taken with a huge grain of salt. Recoil is weighed way too heavily into the equation. Holger 26 is not a 10 it just has literally no recoil. TTK should be king when determining the meta.
It’s definitely a key factor but there are many more things which define a meta. Accuracy can easily outweigh raw TTK Fire rate makes a gun more forgiving Mag size/reload time for the aggressors ADS/StF depending on how you approach engagements impacts that TTK
Can you make a video on the non disclosed TYR damage nerf to the lower torso. This makes it a less reliable 2 shot. In game stats no longer match your website.
Great video, as always! Only disagreement I have is with your STB 556 build... The FTAC FB20 barrel puts you in a weird spot between the 20" Bruen S-620 (better range, similar velocity and less movement penalties) and the Bruen Turaco 686mm (integrated silencer which frees up a spot for an ADS laser or STIP 40 grip for even better recoil control). I'm running the Bruen Turaco 686mm currently but I've never seen the point of the FTAC FB20 with how much it slows you down with its own penalties + a Spiritfire Suppressor. And shhhh about the DG-58... a very slept on gun.
The AMR9 AR build is actually the best AR overall for the average player. Great recoil and the fastest time to kill at close and long range by alot. Nobody talks about it! The fact that it runs SMG ammo is a downside but worth the tradeoff for how fast it kills
@charliex9065 Lacerta compensater, engorcer long barrel, high grain rounds, 50 round mag (100 round mag makes ads strafe speed too slow) and a 1x optic like a slate reflector to minimize the amount you have to control recoil. This specific build is the ONLY good build for the AMR9, any other build either suffers from lack of recoil control or bullet velocity. One of the long range builds Tony recommended didn't have high grain rounds on it which is crucial for bullet velocity on this weapon.
@smokyx you're right, I don't keep up with his Twitter but to be fair the build that he posted was decent but suffers from bullet velocity due to having no high grain rounds on his build. Still my point is that nobody is talking about this gun, which is statistically the fastest killing AR and very easy to use and literally the number 1 AR in the game.

Hey Tony, I've got a question about sniper and/or marksman bullet drop. I'm trying to find the longest range possible gun and I need one that has the lowest bullet drop possible. If you could help me out I would appreciate it a lot.
I run cronen barrel harbinger supressor bruen heavy underbarrel 60 and 3.4 stock on the ram it’s a laser beam lot of ppl run the jak but kills velocity by 18% the harbinger puts you at like 980 on velocity
I've been using the Holger for the last few weeks and it's ridiculously good once you get a nice build and then get used to it. The MTZ 556 on the other hand just isn't it. Hitting moving targets with it is not easy because of that terrible bullet velocity. I'd take the BP50 over it any day since it has much better bullet velocity, less recoil and a much faster ttk in that first damage range, so you can still be very effective with it if you have to use it up close.

I find the SVA on single tap allows you to play with other non-recoil reducing attachments. I've been using high grain, long barrel, sonic supp, 60, slate. The BV is amazing
DG-58 still feels like the best option vs. the Ram7. Its bullet velocity and accuracy makes it so damn good at ripping players off headys and beaming kids out of the sky.
Tony would you expand a bit on how Metagen picks attachments (regarding those "default settings" you mentioned), maybe in a future video? Because sometimes they seems really off to me. A clear example is the RAM-7: why the vertical grip when the horizontal bounce is the main problem with the recoil pattern of the gun? The bruen underbarrell should be a way better fit, i also swap it for the control grip on resurgence since it doesnt hurt ads and still provides visual clearness over decent recoil control.
He;s hiding it again because he don't want it nerfed. But really it's more a mid range/close range build you can shoot long range but it's a bit jumpy.
