Was Baylan Skoll using Dun Moch during his Duel with Ahsoka? Baylan is not a SITH Lord. He’s also no longer a JEDI … He’s lost his faith … Baylan seems to be a character seeking a new way! He’s clearly embraced elements of the Dark Side of the Force! He taught his apprentice how to force choke and both of their lightsaber have drifted away from their original color, which seems to indicate that they are leaning into the dark side more than they are the light side. There are moments where we can still see LIGHT in Baylan! He’s more of a GREY JEDI … than anything else … During his duel with Ahsoka, it became very clear that he was using dark side techniques to keep Ahsoka unbalanced … his goal was to completely dominate Ahsoka’s spirit by taunting and exposing inner weaknesses in order to erode Ahsoka’s will to fight on. He mocked her master and he insinuated that she was to blame for Anakin’s downfall. Ahsoka survived order 66, she was trained by the greatest JEDI of all time, she is POWERFUL yet Baylan saw her self doubt and used it against her! Be sure to follow for more STAR WARS content!

@@stangerr0267Grey Jedi as in those who use both sides of the Force certainly aren't, but it's also used as a term for Jedi whom don't adhere to the Jedi Code and High Council to a full extent, and even just Light Side wielders who aren't really Jedi, whom are definetly real

Baylan taunting her, insulting Anakin, and blaming her partially for his fall perfectly sets up her arc when facing Anakin and his final "lesson" to her. Anakin absolved her by letting her know he himself chose to "die" and fall to the dark side, Vader kiIIed him and he knows it and he didn't survive. Ahsoka on the other hand was told by him to die as he did or live on and she chose to live. Shes been doing everything right and couldn't have done any better regardless of what Baylan told her. Anakins downfall was his burden to bear.

Dun Möch is really hit and miss. Skoll used it against Ahsoka, but she turned the tables on him, despite not completely focusing on him, until she burnt her hand. Dooku used it well against Obi-Wan in AOTC, but it backfired on him spectacularly in ROTS against Anakin.

No he's not using dun moch. The writers and choreographers in no way consider the lightsaber forms when creating the choreography. Thats just something nerd on the internet impose on characters. Same thing with the meaning of lightsaber colors. The filmmakers are literally just picking what looks good

Dun Moch isn't a lightsaber form more of a spiritual force attack through verbal taunting, done while engaged in a lightsaber battle, that unbalances your foe and makes them easier to defeat.

Greatest jedi of all time? What a silly fanboy. Anakin betrayed the Jedi & was twice defeated by Obi-Wan. Later he was defeated by his son. Anakin never achieved his full potential because of his arrogance. Anakin was the greatest jedi failure.

You’re correct that he is a Dark Jedi, because he’s evil. Grey Jedi isn’t a canon term, but it would be better used to describe light side force users that are not technically Jedi or don’t follow the Jedi Order such as Ashoka, Jolee Bindo, and to a lesser extent Qui Gon Jin.

I wouldn’t say Anakin was the greatest Jedi ever, possibly the worst, considering how it ended lol. He was also not the most powerful Jedi, but instead the one with the most potential. He failed to realize his full power when his arrogance got in the way of winning his fight against Obi-Wan. After that, while he was incredibly, powerful, he was diminished.

I would say that he now is the most powerful and greatest Jedi of all time, he was not just a great strategist during the war but he was able to free himself from the emperors grip and defeated him, also he was able to destroy his inner darkness (Vader) and become one with the force as a force ghost, which as far as we know gives him immense power

Ahsoka is beyond Baylin. As a child she took on General Grieves , Asaj Ventress, and Maul. She managed to kill an inquisitor with just her hands and she cut Vaders mask during their dual. She’s pretty damn good, it was Sabine and Hatti that got her knocked off the cliff.

Yet, Ahsoka had no answer for Baylan's style of fighting. That is a consistent weakness of hers, as Vader was also winning his duel with her almost solely because of their usage of Djem So power blows.
