That said, he doesn't need to because City also have 4 of the best and most creative players in world football in KDB, Silva, Mahrez, Foden... City don't need a creative forward just someone to guarantee the ball goes in the net. Arsenal's No.1 struggle is creating opportunities to ultimately create a chance to score from. As good as Ødegaard, Saka, Martinelli are, they are not as technically gifted as City's forwards. It's literally that simple. It's therefore really fucking apparent to your average person that the issue is creation as well as goal scoring... I have no doubt Haaland would score goals in any team in the Prem, but he doesn't do enough by way of creation to be able to score 50 goals a season like he will for City. Therefore for Arsenal Jesus fits the mould perfectly. Sure he's far less likely to score 25 goals, but he'll hopefully create space and maximize the skill sets of the players around him and produce more opportunities for them to score while bagging more goals than our previous options. None of those players are any good and throughout the summer Chelsea were trying their hardest to get rid of all of them. What are you talking about. City won back to back leagues without a striker and were doing fine, they bought a striker out of luxury not necessity. And because Arteta is Peps understudy arsenal could of just done the false 9 thing with Odegaard and been fine with Martinelli and Saka on the wing. So as it happens they did need Sterling more.

Tego point about zinchenko not playing cm against united although valid has flaws….. 1) putting him in cm is too much of a change from what had been working the whole season this far(partey injured, and zinny lb, easier to change one positions I.e lokonga for partey than change 2 players and have players get used to another style) 2) he was coming back from injury he was never playing the full game anyway, so trying him in a new formation is a higher risk.
Tego’s Jesus and Zinchenko takes proves he doesn’t watch arsenal at all. They have transformed this team entirely and we would not be in our current position without them
