Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man is a landmark film for the superhero genre, mainly because it was bold to center on the villain! That’s right, Peter Parker is the bad guy of Spider-Man and the public menace actively destroys the life of the movie’s true protagonist and hero, Norman Osborn, aka Green Goblin! This video will walk through Green Goblin’s arc through the movie and how he was actually the good guy who met a tragic end. Was he the enemy everyone made him out to be or was he just a hardworking single father trying to hold onto the company that he built himself? Makes you think!
This video is obviously a parody, but I hope you walk away from it with a new perspective. Is there a world out there where Green Goblin is seen as the hero of the film?
