How do I feel about this comeback? It’s their best title track and best album ever. That’s how I feel.

The music video is so freakin heartbreaking because (at least for me/my interpretation) it's Yeonjun living in a toxic household and leaving the house and imagining he is with his friends that don't seem to actually be there (hence the ending, him waking up alone and the car is fine, it was all his imagination) to cope with his situation. Like this song and video hit waaaaaay too close to home, like just wanting to escape to your own mind to not hear the fighting. The song also itself (lyrics) very much gives me the same feeling of someone just so desperately wanting to be loved and wanted and it kills me.

Soobin said Bang PD was struggling with the lyrics and asked RM to take a look so that's how he came to contribute. They were unsure of what song would become a title track and RM was the one who voted in favour of 0x1=LOVESONG. Hueningkai said he ran into RM in the Hybe building and thanked him for contributing lyrics to their title track #TXT_Freeze

Within like 20 seconds of hearing the song for the first time, it was an instant favorite. I love this song so much it’s so full of emotion and has this early 2000s alternative rock vibe, I don’t even know but if makes me feel like I’m 16 again for some reason. I can’t even explain it but it’s such an amazing song

the storyline of this mv is yeonjun has an abusive parents & suffers from a mental illness. he escaped from their home after discharging from the hospital. he spent his day with his friends. his friends are happy watching him dancing & enjoying but in the end, all of those are imagination bc he is ill. idk what type of ill is it but the closest one is HALLUCINATION . the lyrics “i know its real, i can feel it” is like pushing himself that all of those are really real when it’s not and 0X1 LOVESONG might not be talking about a typical a lovesong between a guy and girl but about family, friends and self. “in this world full of zero, you are my one and only” is like interpreting about parents caring & understanding their child. remember the line of hueningkai “i was to fine to die. im loser in this game” this speaks so much. we’ve been mentally unstable and wanting to end our lives but we’re still hopeful that someone can understand us. 0X1, in this world full of EMPTINESS, 1 person helping u is enough . YEONJUN WOKE UP AND THE CAR IS STILL IN A GOOD CONDITION. THE CAR IS NOT BURNED .

Ok when you said “did he have a vision” that was Yeonjun. There is a theory especially with the story line. MOA’s please correct me if I am wrong! But the theory is that Yeonjun is in a mental hospital because as you saw his parents are fighting in the back ground. And he always ends up alone. Is that the other members are just his imagination and he use it as a coping mechanism to help him. Or the other one is that the other members died and he is still trying to remember them and not forget them. Also the one with the rasp in his voice is Taehyun. Hope this helps!

My first TXT song so I don't know if it’s important and/or confusing but the fish in the sky are betta fish. They are highly territorial and very combattive: Put two in one tank, they'll most likely fight each other to the death. (Edit: Just thought it might mean something given the parents' relationship🤷‍♀️)

i saw someone saying that the fishes in the mv are betta fish which symbolize individuality and solitude, and it's a great fish to describe depression and loneliness

quick thought this gives me early bts storyline vibes, from the video to the meaning of the song! not to compare the two because they are very different i just thought that was an interesting way to do this mv! (i truly am not trying to compare the two {bts and txt} i just know that that both storylines happen inside the hybe/big hit universe so i was drawing a connection, ik some people are really sensitive about comparing the two groups {rightfully so} so i wanted to clarify) also fun fact, yeonjun said he got his drivers license specifically for this mv and the members said that he scratched the car on the first day 😂 just a fun anecdote from the boys *i originally was going to talk about my storyline theory, but it would spoil some stuff for caitlin so i’ll leave out the spoiler part of the theory* i personally feel like yeonjun in this specific mv was trying to run away from his home troubles and made up the other members in an attempt to escape(so imaginary friends). it would explain why the members can push each other and directly effect each other but they don’t do that with yeonjun. the fire seems to follow him everywhere (in other mv’s as well, idk if that is good or bad) and in his reality with his ‘friends’ used it and destroyed his only way back to a life he wasn’t happy with. this mini theory only pertains to this specific music video and it’s contents (without thinking about the full storyline, that includes ignoring the fish because that leads me to believe they are part of magic island, which makes me think of full storyline).

Interesting fact: the music that Yeonjun dance in his kitchen was a tribute to Leslie Cheung's mambo scene from the movie Days of being Wild. Leslie Cheung is an iconic Chinese actor who was openly gay since 1997, he is a icon. Sadly he committed suicide in 2003.

There's actually a theory I saw that said the MV was about Yeonjun taking anti-depressants (probably because of his parents fighting) and he is just imagining the rest of the group being there. This would explain a lot of the lyrics including "Please use me like a drug" and "I know it's real, I can feel it." Which, regarding that second lyric. It makes me so sad cause like. No hunny, it's not real, I'm so sorry.

Ok hear me out.. Here's my theory in this MV, I think Yeonjun was hallucinating and then dreaming. At the beginning part of the MV we see him running happily with keys on his hand but we couldn't see who he was showing them to, which supports the fact that he was hallucinating. After that, we see him playing games as his parents argue in the background, it seems like he didn't plan to go anywhere that time since he was playing and when he heard his parents argue he didn't want to hear it and decides to go out. He steals his parent's car to go out and then suddenly the other members appear, he wanted the members to comfort him so he hallucinated that he was with them at that time. There's also a theory that Yeonjun was actually ill because we see that he has a little hospital bracelet thingy on his wrist, I think his illness caused his hallucinating. I do also think that the fishes represent the members since they were always around water and see fishes around them as well (you can see the little snippets of the fishes around the boys in the mv when you pay attention, there were also fishes swimming with them underwater) Yeonjun thinks of the fishes as his members (We see at the teaser 1 that he was dancing alone and then the camera focuses on the fishes, we see at the mv that it wasn't the actual fishes but the members) He dances with them outside, again he was hallucinating. Beomgyu tried to light up the lighter but failed, it frustrates him so he threw it to the car and it catches fire. Yeonjun looked worried at first but laughed it off, I think he realized that he wasn't going back anymore but idk just yet. There's also a scene where he was driving the car with the members, it crashes and causes smoke. The other members pushed the car while Yeonjun was on the driver's seat, he hallucinates them trying to help the car up the hill when he was literally the one who tried to make it work again (we see that the car starts to work again). When the song was ending there were really quick shots of the members dancing around and having fun, there were also really quick shots were Yeonjun was the only one dancing around (again, he's hallucinating that he was having fun with his members). At the end he wakes up and sees noone but the car which was not on fire. I think he somehow fell asleep at that spot and then wakes up and snaps back into reality, he realized that all that wasn't real. This song, lyrics and MV was really well made, there's a ton of symobolism. The little references of IT from the cast (LOSER/LOVER, there was a line "I'm a loser in this game") and the t-shirts too with the clown! I really loved their voices in this! Especially Huening and Taehyun since they improved so much! Seori did great too! I think It's really unique that they are featuring someone on a title track but ya know txt is very unpredictable 😂

This is such a drastic change from their other music. They have a very rock/rebel feel to not only their looks but also their vocals. Hear how they add in that gut course screaming into some of their verses. I’m really loving this comeback. The range of each of their voices is so incredible.

yes i am 7 months late, but i'm going to talk about this anyways. i saw this theory once about this mv saying that txt are basically yeonjun's imaginary friends, and he goes around with them to basically escape from his normal life (his parents arguing at the beginning) and he imagined the car burning, which is why it was fine when he woke up at the end.

Listen...when she said "Are they the fish?" My mind just exploded like seriously. The saying 'feeling like a fish out of water' just came in mind. Like they feel alone and different to everyone else without your friends who know who you are and how you act. Plus the fact of his parents arguing would add to his sadness. So I'm guessing as long as yeonjun has his friends he doesn't feel alone and he can be himself stress free. This I just my opinion on that.🙂

I'm starting to wonder if instead of it being just a hallucination I think the first seen where he is running happy towards someone with the car keys I am wondering if that is a flash back and that his friends ended up dying which is why he is under the hospital (medial bracelet). He probably stole the keys for the car then also and used it as an escape from his parents constant fighting then as well. With them now gone he hallucinates them instead so they are still with him. I think he is struggling with the grief and the issue with his parents.

If you notice the type of fish it is it is a beta fish and beta fish can't be with other fish or else they will eat them (or other fish will eat them I can't remember which way😂)

Hi Caitlin, yep this song is obsessing me, I have it in my head regularly these days… I’m trying to recognize there voices, not very successful for the moment, my daughter helps 😂. Indeed, in the chorus, there’s a girl singing with them, so high soft voice is not Bomgiu, he’s the deeper harmonizing. Yep RM helped a little on the song and also advised to take this one as the title song, and just with the first seconds (chorus voices…), you understand why. Good to watch the kids with you 😘

So, I dunno if you plan on diving into the TU, so I'll try to leave out spoilers. Yeonjun's character deals with loneliness, mostly self afflicted loneliness because he sees himself as a monster. He's also associated with fire. The whole premise of the TU is that the boys promised on a star to always be together, but then they broke that promise and, as a result, forgot about each other. They eventually found each other again, but they couldn't remember everything about each other. So, skipping spoilers, Yeonjun did something to get. basically cursed with having fire follow him around. He's being punished for something he did, but the first fire was never caused by him - it was caused by Beomgyu. THEORY TIME. This music video is either a retelling of this, or it's just Yeonjun daydreaming really, really hard. DOUBLE THEORY TIME. I can't go into it without revealing more, but this is sung from Yeonjun's POV. Also, unrelated, if Yeonjun didn't wanna be breaking down in the middle of nowhere, he shouldn't have been driving a Volvo that was at least as old as him. smh.

Not entire sure, but the reference in the comeback and the video makes me sure this is inspired by "End of the Fucking World". A story about a boy who can't feel emotion and wants to murder a girl and how they quickly fell in love and run away from home.

The whole MV is not abt the typical love story of a guy and a girl but instead it revolves around Family, Friends and self. " In this world with full of zero, you are my one and only " which interpreting abt parents caring, loving and understanding for their child. As we can see in the MV, YJ's parents were arguing, it's always like that, that's why it triggered Yeonjun's brain which cause him to have a mental illness ( idk what exactly it is, but it's close to HALLUCINATIONS) we could also see Yeonjun driving, and on his wrist is a green ribbon, which symbolizes and logo of MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS ( YJ is portraying someone who has a mental illness with all those hallucinations that he went through and raising an awareness by having his own ribbon on his wrist) He wants to escape the bitter and painful reality of living in a toxic environment that's why he created a fantasy where he's with his friends and happily hanging out with them. But the truth is, it's just all part of Yeonjun's imagination and hallucinations. We can see him staring at the beta fishes floating, those were the members inside of it bc they are just pigments of his imaginations. We could also see that the members kept seeing those fishes, the fishes were everywhere around them. It feels like it symbolizes that despite the happiness that they were experiencing, it reminded them that everything was just a fantasy, the world of fantasy that they were all trying to live in. In this lines: " I’m full of problems, love sick No way to go I was fine to die I’m a loser in this game The on1y rule of this world Save me Take my hand Please use me like a drug (I know I love you) Say you love me Say you love me Till the end of the world All or nothing I want all of you (I know I love you) It has sm meaning, it's speaks sm, we've been suffering and mentally unstable to the point that sometimes we just wanted to end our lives but despite from all of that we're still hopeful that someone can save and understand us. This song (0X1) is reminding us that in this world that full of UNCERTAINTY and EMPTINESS we just need 1 person to understand us.
