I really liked both 9 and 10, it was unique and felt like adventure compared to standard board game, wish they continued the car mechanic in side series at least but it got so much hate that I doubt it.
I went back to this game last night after playing a bunch of the older Mario Party games lately, and while I was playing it, I really started to miss the older Mario Party games lol. However at the same time, the linear boards is actually a decent change of pace after playing the older Mario Party games for a long time. However it didn’t take long for me to want to go back to the older games lol
Interesting points you made. The graphics is definitely better than the others but I haven't played yet since the board mode wasn't appealing for me and Mario Party is made to play with friends. The Mario Party I still play till this day is Mario Party 6 via GC inject. (and I only played it if I have friends came by).
I grew up playing 10 and back then I really really liked it. Looking back, I think it’s okay. I prefer most other MP games to this one but I wouldn’t call this game the worst. I think in some ways it’s a step up from 9 like no more captain events and (debatable take) the boss battles being a bit better
I was expecting this weekend's video to be on Mario Kart DS, but I am fine with this too. I have always been much more into the Mario Kart series as well as the mainline Super Mario series in general than Mario Party. However, I did grow up with Mario Party 8 and have also played Mario Party 9 and 10, and I much prefer Mario Party 8 to the other ones I have played. To be fair though, I didn't hate playing either Mario Party 9 or 10.
It’s underrated. So is MP9. I have both and They’re very similar. It’s different but I like it. The Original on N64 is super underrated too I like how harsh it is and the mini games are the best. Boards are not great on MP1, 9 or 10 honestly. 6 had the best boards. 1 had the best mini games
People are too hard with this game, there is actually a lot of stuff to do, cool minigames and a great roster, i'd love to see that "4 in one vehicule" back, having same mario party on a console isn't the best, why don't do something like the wii, with a mario party 8 lonely and a mario party 9 with vehicule ?
