Hmhmhm 😊 Can I just say that this is so sweet and now watching the 2nd vid of yours about this is... Healing. Like, really. (I'm tearful) I remembered watching Gabe's little channel at the point where he was still single! I was tryna attend the breakout rooms as well. Those were my church-hunting days... I couldn't find a single place in this heretic country that had that same.... Spirit in practice which I knew I've obtained. I did finally find a logical, growing and maturing community of believers though and for that I'm very grateful. Like an oasis in the middle of *absolutely* just nowhere in the equivalent of hell. It was September 22 last year and my birthday was on the third. I had really been struggling. Pornography, lust and everything. Even personally... I was super, super lost in life. I didn't even know what I was feeling, I'm telling you the level of brokenness even as Christian was absolutely insane. The reason was I was undiagnosed AUDHD at the time. (Autism and ADHD and probably OCD as well - after salvation) It was then that randomly and out of desperation I cried to God that I don't want to be addicted and lost... But I'd like to give context, since I kinda just want to make sure I get full understanding. (Years before this) Due to neurodivergent burnout and bullying and meltdowns as a result I had dropped out of highschool early... That ruined my life but so would destroying my health by pushing through burnout with not enough rest for being chronically ill.. I had come to realize I've hardly been nurtured as a kid. Conceived out of wedlock, fatherless, kept alive (I refuse to say 'raised') by three women, my mother and aunt and grandmother. I was abused by my mother and stepdad through my adolescence in which I'm pretty sure I was suffering from manic depression (I couldn't read my Bible for 2 minutes without breaking down sobbing) - the reason was the way I hyperfixed on Christ due to how my brain works... They absolutely detested that, and I was naive and unskilled in pretty much everything. I was also isolated from everything and everyone, being out of school and very naturally unemployed and uh too broken to even think about work 😅 (Guys I didn't even understand how to cast my burdens on God or how to apply that and I was confused as heck when I randomly pulled it off... A prophetess I met helped me with the validation I needed to begin doing that effectively like 3 days ago!!) Against all odds, I think I'm starting to make it. So anyways on September 22 of 2023 I was approached by an old classmate back from Highschool and it turned out she was Christian. It was on Facebook. Long story short we caught up and started a romantic relationship in the end. This was after I had cried to God for help with my issues, so I actually believed it to be a Godsend for real. And she's surely Christian.... But she was also kinda lawless. I couldn't figure out what's up with her but I decided to stick it out and figure how I can help, encourage, explain... You know. She took my first kiss. We spoke openly about sex pretty soon even though I was slightly uncomfortable with the topic. I could see it's something she wanted and I tried thinking about why that was. I was tolerating a lot because I'm a particularly rigid person. Back then at her and her parent's place we had a moment which I thought was alright. Hahaha.... She was the one with her head on my lap and I was causing her to sleep, scratching her head. It seemed to me that it was affection, so I welcomed us being able to do that. Now against all my better judgement we ended up making out cuz her friends left the room. It was awkward for me because I hadn't even felt about her like that. However I refused sex even being literally and instant from being able to have it. I assumed she was just a girl in love... Looking back now I regret even that. I realized that she's not someone I'd be able to marry anytime soon... She's miraculously picked up something a lot like toxic masculinity and I figured she's probably got unmanaged BPD 😕 Even though something happened and I felt I had to promise that I would - and I promised Christ that I would since we did get intimate slightly. I'm thinking that might've been unnecessary now though. But my main point is I know how to turn to God for strength to cope with daily things now. She came along hours after that time I cried out to God and I still don't quite understand it... But anyways she my ex now. ...... I've just been touched by all this. I really want to get back to this place of purity. I've made SO many mistakes. And I do absolutely stupid things when I have meltdowns (involuntary responses to overwhelm) which can be seen as like a seizure but mentally. Over the last few years I've grown. I've understood my combine neurodivergence and found a community of people like me - I'm no longer alone. I've grown wise. It's the only thing I've been able to do - personal growth and pursuing truth and healing. I now have this "it's lonely at the top" kind of situation where I've grown to be more self aware than even non-disabled (neurotypical) people... I can clearly see how society's priority is materialism and success in the system and how it's no wonder the world is in such a dire state - over here people's hearts don't matter and the churches are bound to the system and the faithful and the chosen are far between. I've been suicidal, even. And that was mere days ago again. Until God intervened... Again. He stops me every.single.time. Reeeeeeeeeee But now I now how to cope 😁😁 Man... Yeah. Sorry about this, I just wrote a book. Nobody's gonna read this, and... I figured out I'm naturally and developmentally genderqueer. Meaning I have a feminine nature and internal gender expression and I'm a biological male. Such twistedness. But it's better to understand than be in the dark and stumble all over. I understand God's plan now. I'm to be the light in the coming Neurodivergent Society. They are unable to blend in with the system of the world, it's a genius plan - they the disabled and oppressed and cast out and hated are perfect - biologically set apart. A group of ND Christians will be like nothing this world has seen before, I'm convinced of it. We have a permanent outsider's perspective from the inside, it's bloody excellent! As of right now I'm trying to rebuild my life and gain independence. By the grace of God and Love Himself I see that I've caught up in maturity and now I can truely begin to grow. I think my ASD special interest which encompasses anything under the topic of life, reality and people served me well too. .... But in all honesty I'm lusty. And that's gotta go. I see that now. Like OF COURSE I was damaged by my sin 🤦🏻♂️💥 and it needs to change asap. All I've truely been wanting in my heart was this which you have. I wish I can share all my feelings... But they're deep and high and far and wide, like nothing I see other men have. And as I look at you two I wonder how I came to fall so far. This is not right... And my beloved group of believers I'm a part or don't meet often enough yet and for the hope that's materialized in front of me I still feel like a severed limb in the body of Christ on Earth. I've been yearning for a partner, I wish to marry and set things right just like you said. I have so, so much I could teach the son or especially the little girl I wanted ever since I was 19. I could be intentional, everything could be planned - I could hold a newborn child in my arms and say "welcome to the world, and the place we've prepared for you and all the things we have for you, wisdom and boundless love and all the care you will need" Gathering wisdom has been my non-stop pursuit for years now. I just hope it's not too late.. I'm turning 22 in a few days you know. Is everyone's story something like this? Doesn't seem like it. But I felt happy to share it here in the hopes that it'll be read 😂😂😂 😅so sorry about this. But yeah.... Guess I'ma stick around after all. Let's just see where this goes, and thank you 💖

Hey, I need some help. Im a teenager living in a family that is not religious. I have decided to get into Christianity because I believe that god exists and the rules in Christianity are so good, I also celebrate Christmas. But since I don’t know anyone religious I don’t know what to do. I don’t know how to pray. I only know about a few of the sins. I also don’t really know much about god and Jesus. I have tried reading the Bible but to be honest I don’t understand anything. When I pray I just improvise. I do it every night and it usually goes something like “for my daily prayer today I want to ask for a happy life and happiness for those around me. I ask for your presence in my life and your guidance to help me become a religious person. As always I want to thank you for everything you do. Sun, rain, happiness and pain. It is all thanks to you. Amen. I need all tips I can get on what to do to learn about gos and Jesus and how to pray properly.

Hey, it's great that you have the courage to go on this journey with god. My advice for you: Look in your churches around for a youth group, often you don't have to go to this church particularly. I moved from my parents house and in the last year, I experienced how important it is to have people in your age who believe in the same things. Also (if you're the type for this) look for a tutor, someone you like talking to who is a little older. It helped me a lot with my spiritual questions. And one last thing, it's not about what you do (going to church, good things...), it's about what Jesus did for you. This will result in love for others. I wish you all the best! Stay curious.
@leobyrod8307 God loves you SO MUch and wants to have a RELATIONSHIP with you. (Not so much about rules, as a relationship.) .. His Word (the Bible) definitely helps us know how to live our lives. But the biggest thing is becoming His child. He wants you in His family!!! (God created us all, but we are not all His children. He gives us that choice.) .. Ask Him to show you the way. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Nobody comes to the Father except through me." .. Sin is something that comes between us and God. The Bible says, "If you confess your sins (to God), He is faithful to forgive us our sins and to CLEANSE us from all unrighteousness." 🥰
And then, you know John 3:16, probably, "For God so loved the world that He gave the only son born to Him (as a sacrifice) that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." And "Unless a person is born AGAIN (become a new person), they cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven." .. So we must believe and ask God to make us new and put our trust in the faithfulness of Jesus. 🥰

Watching this video is hard. I will never have this experience, I didn't have sex before marriage, but now that I am married my wife and I have struggled with a health issue that has prevented us from having sex at all. We've been married almost 4 years now, and we've made progress. My wife is in physical therapy, and I've been patient, but the 1st night was not the beautiful experience we were expecting. I wish I could turn back time or return to the "honeymoon" stage of the first time, but it will forever be tarnished by pain and discomfort caused by my wife's vaginismus. Now that we've become familiar and comfortable around each other, I'm afraid when we can finally have sex it won't be quite what it could have been if things had gone differently our first night. Either way, I take comfort in knowing that I'm married to the love of my life and she is mine, and I am hers. We saved ourselves for each other and someday, we will share the closeness that sex brings that we both desperately want with each other, and I'm happy to wait however long that takes. I believe in eternal marriage, which is a controversial belief in Christianity, but I'm overjoyed by the hope that I'll be with my wife for forever, and that in the resurrection she will be healed and we won't have this pain with us for any longer. The sorrow I have felt because of this trial is far outweighed by the joy that comes from my Savior Jesus Christ. His atonement makes healing and forgiveness possible, so no matter what circumstances may or may not stand in the way of what your ideal "first time" was, you can find peace and wholeness in spite of the FOMO or pain caused by missing out on the "perfect" situation.

As a high schooler who has recently decided to wait until marriage and devote myself more to god, I can only say thank you for helping me with all these stories and making me feel like I’m not alone with my struggles.
This is something than a few people know about me, but I promised to God to be a virgin until marry since I was an adolescent. But I struggled with masturbation and p0r4 like 8 years, and a year ago I started to feel disconnected to God even going to church. So I have sex for the first time being a 33 years old when I knew this guy, and we became boyfriend and girlfriend because he promised things that at that time I believed, and because I trusted in him I agreed to give him my body, my heart, and my inner part of myself. Then, after we broke up, I understood that I was a slave of that life. I came back to church, and suddenly, having time with God and working with myself, I can say I’m free. Every day is a challenge, but I know God is with me and I feel freed since one day.

I waited for marriage. My husband was older and a "biker." He is living for Jesus now and has been delivered of so much!!! We've been married 31 years now and have 4 grown children. .. GOD is faithful. .. If I ever am faced with having to date and get married again, I will once again wait (with better boundaries).
I never understood when people would say things like "you have to learn how to give good sex" or "you have to learn whether your spouse is good in bed," stuff like that. Are these not things you can learn with your beloved?
Might I just say, I'm struggling with same sex attraction. I know it's wrong and I haven't done anything with such feelings. @@ganyu2935 the flesh is deceiving and that's something I learned the hard way. I once found one of cousins attractive and if that isn't objectively wrong idk what is. I never did anything because I prayed for forgiveness and for help. It's so wierd how the soul is in the body yet they desire such different things. Lust is probably one of the worst things to exist because it's so easy to disguise itself as something fine just because you want to.

I have been thinking recently that I want to get married early, but that’s something that many of the people around me would judge me for. Through prayer, I’ve talked with the Lord and He has made it clear that marriage is something I should pursue in whatever relationship I enter; that I should only enter a relationship with marital intent. Our culture “trains” us to believe we have to be sexually “proficient” before marriage. My question is - where is it written that romance and sex have to be like it is portrayed in films or television? These influences affect us by giving us unrealistic expectations which can lead to disappointment if those expectations are not met. I taught a class about this once, and I shared with the group that these scenes that are filmed for TV and movies are written and directed to APPEAR spontaneous, but they’re not! - and there are other people in the room filming them, and the actors may be passionately kissing with a camera inches from their faces. It’s called ACTING - and we shouldn’t allow ourselves to embrace these fantasies and expect our reality to match them. I could go on and on about this. Thanks so much for being so open and candid.

Thank you so much for this video, I really needed this. I also struggled with pornography when I was younger and it totally deprived me of my innocence and will be something I'll always regret. But I also have a similar story where God delivered me from it and the temptation pretty much left me altogether. Years later I felt the conviction to tell my parents what had happened to me, even though I wasn't in that place anymore, and I can relate in saying that it was one of the most freeing experiences of my life, even though it was also one of the scariest. Not too long ago I had a dream where I was sexually immoral before marriage and I woke up in a state of self-righteousness because I realized that I was still saving myself. But the Lord revealed to me that I had been sexually immoral in the things I had watched and that I wasn't any better than anyone else; that was convicting. Maybe it was the culture I grew up in or maybe it just wasn't explained to me well enough in the Church, but I have always sort of viewed sex as bad and something that I had no interest in. It sounded scary and I discovered recently that I have a fear of my husband just wanting my body and not me. I have been trying to shake this mindset for a while but have been finding it difficult. This video completely changed my perspective. I now see why it's important for us as Believers to save ourselves for marriage, and I see why sex within marriage is a beautiful and selfless thing that joins two people together in a way that reflects how God wants to love us. I also love that you prayed before your wedding night, I think that's something that I want to do too. Thank you again for the video and for sharing what God revealed to you through your marriage. My beautiful wife saved herself for marriage but unfortunately I didn’t. I had previously been with a girl and I say from experience ITS NOT WORTH IT. Brothers and sisters please save yourself for your future wives and husbands!! I have to deal with the pain and shame of it. I have repented and the Lord has forgiven me and paid the penalty on the cross for what I’ve done. But still it hurts and I wish I had saved myself!
I’m 28 and moving slowly with a godly woman. Marriage is still in the distance but this will be my first godly relationship after being saved from my heathen lifestyle. I LOVE the mission to wait until marriage. To be one with God and each other. But I am not a fan of potentially impregnating her in the first few times of sex. I have thoughts about iy already but significant planning needs to take place before bringing children into this world. A wonderful gift from God. But then there are questions of using protection to embrace without the fear of having a unplanned child. Very curious what the premarital counsel will say about that. I can totally empathize with your situation. Even with all the right Biblical knowledge that one can earn through enough discipleship it is hard as a Christian to know what to do about this kind of thing. I had a major struggle not to mention addiction to it when I was your age.

The Bible-based answer for this is that it is "better to marry than to burn" (with lust), 1 Cor. 7:9. If you're both Christians, I would suggest praying about setting a date for sooner rather than later. Just understand that marriage is lifelong a covenant with God and one another, not just a temporary license for sex.

God gave the woman's body times to achieve pregnancy and times to not achieve pregnancy. @@idk7251Actually, women have set periods when they can get pregnant. The uterus is a hostile environment for sperm and will kill them outside of these times. Most christians don’t believe in contraception.
I don’t know if it’s possible for Jesus to even forgive me. I mean, I know it’s possible for him to do it, but I don’t know if it’s possible for me specifically to be forgiven. I have sinned willfully and have been bound by sin for 10 years. I used to be a strong saved Christian, but I lost my way.
Those thoughts are LIES from the pits of hell. Romans 8:1 says "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit" and Colossians 1:13-14 says "For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins". Once you have confessed and repented (whether you sinned willfully or not) YOU HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN. You have to forgive yourself as well, because Yahweh says to forgive others (this includes YOU) so that you may be forgiven by him. I hope and pray you will manage to do so in Jesus Christ's mighty name, Amen.

There may be a difference between premarital sex with the person you will be with the rest of your life than people who are having sex with many different people.
Most Christains never marry in nowadays. It took my friend 20 years and 30 dates to find a wife living for God. If you give your life to God don’t expect to ever marry. I’m still single at 48. Single Christain since 19. Woman in the church are extremely complex! I have made my peace believing I will never marry as it’s too hard to find a lady especially at my age!
Just know folks. The early Church didn't talk about virginity a state once lossed it could never be regained. Nor as a state that someone was in that never did the physical deed. The early Church even talked about married being able to be virgins, of course there pratical sides of virginity between married and unmarried differ. But both are called to the same viriginity.
No! "Virgin" in the Bible only means "someone with no sex experience". Therefore, once you have sex you are no longer a virgin. Forgiveness of sin does not restore virginity. People who committed fornication can have their sin forgiven if they repent, but forgiveness does not undo what they have done and make them virgins. Forgiveness is release from guilt of the act and not reversal the act. Marriage happens by sexual union, not by exchange of rings or vow or signing of a contract. Therefore, marriage excludes virginity. Once you are married you are no longer a virgin.
It feels so odd to abstain from any physical intimacy, from Zero to all the way in just one night… The bible was written in a time when ypu couldn’t prevent pregnancy. The times are different today. Its so weird that you get shamed for just laying beside each other in bed…
I know sex is what consummates the marriage, but you still said “I do” You don't get to go back on your covenant because of that. Yeah, sure, it is almost certainly frustrating as hell if you expect it. Without more context though, I'm 90% sure that it was probably awkwardness or you didn't go slowly enough. Annulment makes me think you're Catholic, and there are plenty of Catholic and Christian women that are told to fear or hate and flee from sex all their life. This isn't something to be gleeful about, this is a sorrow. Given your phrasing, maybe that wonderful life together would've been saved if you had a mature conversation about it or had waited a week or had built up to it and not just tried to force it. I wasn't there, I don't know more than 3 sentences about it, one being a crude and snarky response, but from the information I have, you ruined a lot of things by breaking your covenant and being an ass about something like that for a measly half a week.

No passion,romance or desire. We're just supposed to breed like cattle. I saw her almost 2 years later. She begged for forgiveness and reconciliation. She learned from another church that she was wrong. It doesn't matter what she was taught. She still made the choice to deny her husband so she's accountable for that. I told her that I can forgive but I won't soon forget. If she still wanted to be my wife then she had to agree to all my terms...non negotiable!! 1- full separation from family and that demon church. 2- prenup!! (She gets nothing!!) 3- conversion and marriage classes with the Rabbi and his wife. 4- she has to court me and win me back. She has to win/gain back my trust, love and respect. 5- 1st wedding was a nice venue and reception that I paid for( her family is dirt poor) this time it will be just the courthouse with the Justice of the Peace . No reception, cake etc. Just straight to the honeymoon. 6- the honeymoon will be somewhere close by. The 1st was at atlantis in the carriebian(which I also paid for) not this time!! She doesn't get that a 2nd time. 7- I absolutely will not remarry you until you sleep with me first!!! You owe me a honeymoon!!!........ however, if you can earn my trust back and absolutely convince me that the fiasco of the 1st honeymoon won't ever happen again then I will amend that stipulation to Zhe honeymoon but with the full understanding that we will be making love on the wedding night!! Any nerves, apprehension or fears that you have, build a bridge and get over it!! I will not spend the rest of my life with a xold fish frozen iceberg in the bedroom!!.....that's the deal, you have exactly 24 hours to make your choice. That was almost 5 years ago. A woman who carries her virginity all her life goes through an emotional process of transition to become comfortable with giving her body completely to her husband. This is not something that always happens overnight. Youre wife was probably a true virturous woman that needed some patience and love. When and men are different. Woman need time to warm up and be comfortable in a new physical situation. Its disappointing to hear that you didnt try to understand her.

We met each other about a year and 9 months later. She begged for forgiveness and reconciliation. She learned that she was wrong and was lied to. I agreed but certain stipulations had to be met. No exemptions allowed. She agreed to everything.

This sounds very black and white. Like "Either you wait until marriage or it's just about using each other's bodies for your own benefit". But there is soooo much in between. You can treat sex as something meaningful and valuable without being married. You can even be with the same person for the rest of your life without being married. On the other hand, you can be married and get divorced (thankfully, especially in cases of domestic violence etc.) and nobody can count how many married people have cheated on their spouse. Marriage is not a guarantee. Whenever you have your first time, you should feel comfortable, safe and sure that you really want it in that moment. You can't plan such a spontaneous feeling. My advice to every virgin would be to be prepared (you should have talked about it with each other and have contraception ready if you don't want to have children right away or there is a risk of infection), but NOT to plan the exact day and time. If you take time for each other and both feel comfortable and safe, it doesn't even have to hurt at all! Be patient with yourself and your partner. Don't ever feel pressured - married or not! Your body, your decision! Always!
The way that I understand how important it is to have sex only during a marriage is that when both partners haven't had it and are equally unexperienced, they get to explore that unknown together and from the same position, trusting in each other that they can figure it out. The way I see it is basically this: two oxen yoked together to navigate the unknown. That's truly the adventure that is within a marriage, and sex is quite a journey to take while being equally yoked. By the way, I'm not a Trinitarian Christian, but Muslim, though also not quite "Muslim" in what is predominantly known by the term (simply, I'd very likely be considered a heretic in Islam, haha, but I don't care about religious scholars, I care about what God thinks of me). However, I don't subscribe to the idea that the Bible is corrupted, and read it alongside the Quran. Like, when I came across the bridegroom parable that God is the bridegroom and mankind is the bride, it opened a deeper understanding of the Quran for me with regard to understanding the role of the husband and the role of a wife. I love the Bible and I love the Quran. I just love God's word; I wish I did better regarding sexual issues, however. But this video is really informative and genuine, so I'm hopeful!
