I greatly prefer the SB FS1913 to the Sig brace. I don't think I could run an optics mount backwards just to get the screws on the other side. I hope it at least doesn't have cant.
I have the 16in version and it has violent recoil and not that accurate...Sig keeps changing that rifle for the military...now they have removed the qd cups from handguard and the fwd assist
Also in regard to the accuracy mine absolutly does not like the Lithuanian GGG ammo...it was printing close to 5moa groups at 100yrds...so far best ammo has prolly been AAC 168gr otms at like 2moa...I had some American eagle 168 otms that did ok as well but had 1 dud in 1 box I had bought and 1 box that printed horribly as well of the same ammo so I can't say anything good ab it either
@@Gmny1MOA I would be kind of mad at that performance tbh... I am so disappointed with SIG, since they got sold out I feel like they are going the way of Boeing, a company once known for engineering becoming a company of marketing and profits first. Just a random not fair contrast but I have been shooting allot of my Zastava M90.. and I can print 2moa with the cheapest PMC bronze .223, with my best group being a 5 shot .9 Moa group at 100 yards with AAC 77otms. Out of a $1,300 AK..
I think the Desert Tech Rifle fit the futuristic rifle considering the rest of the worlds major armies all have bullpups. And the modularity of the desert tech sys seems alot more flexible.
Considered that but wanted something really slim and that could foldup without adding much width. Eventually might put something different on this and transfer this brace to a 9mm of some sort, but overall I do like this brace itself.
It was a small factor, but taking standard mags did ehlp with my decision on the MCX. I had 4 mags for the 751 and while 1 went with the gun, the other 3 sold for pretty decent money. Basically, i needd $5k cash immediately, and the 751 seemed the easier way to make that happen, know what I mean?
Really? My MK25 has been a great shooter, and i say that also owning 2 Swiss made P210s and aSwiss assembled P220. But I will admit I still prefer my Beretta M9 over the MK25 myself.
I'll have to take your word for it lol. I got it from a buddy a bit ago. Since its a clone of a real SOCOM type scope, i thought it appropriate enough on the MCX. Plus SIG on SIG action *shrug*
Cool, thanks. I recorded this video over Labor Day weekend (the noise lol) and i didn't see any then, but also i wasn't looking too hard. I have serious doubts as to the US military actually adopting 6.8mm in any kind of meaningful way.
Yeah but seems like the LTs are being reported with more QC issues too. In the end, i have enough .223 & 7.62x39 guns (no interested in .300 BO); but did want a modern .308. First got the SG751 and then the LMT. This MCX wasn't a planned thing. It just fell into my lap for a good price (think sub $3k) so i couldn't resist trying it out.
Flip it on its head; if you needed cash, which would be easier to move? an MCX or 751? Did i mention, its sure nice having running water out here at the cabin? lol
Oh trust me, back when they were trying to ban braces, if they'd tried that on me, i was definitely playing the disability card. I don't use that one often in my life, preferring to save it for when it really matters. Against big gov't seems like a great example.
