As the only Repot user ino this universe, I confirm it was underrated. It only thrived after Lily rework. Easy to kill someone right behind a wall, magnificent escape tool, immaculate self-passes across the entire brawl ball map, sneak attacks on gem carrier, unexpected brawl ball score defences, rare occasions of splash damage, hardcountering throwers. That all in one gadget.
i love Repot but the problem with it is you need your super and lily takes forever to charge a super with just the circle so i rarely ever use all 4 i barely use 3
Nah fr, Repot is actually such a good gadget. You can teleport over the walls and you don't even need it to land on enemy to teleport. It's just that her 1st gadget is op as hell, but 2nd one is a great gadget too

The patch notes didn’t cover it but she was unfortunately given an unload speed 😔 To my surprise though, it’s not much slower than what I was able to input consistently, just that I can no longer burst it like crazy when I anticipate an ambush and can’t get my ammo back as quickly
i will admit that i am a vanish npc, BUT i will aways stand with the fact that vigilance is the better starpower cuz it makes lily really versatile, she is able to be tensai, makes u counter cordelius even more bc it work on the shadow realm, u can get good position and allows her to have a different playstyle, which consists in tp, attack, run away, wait for ur super, tp and kill, not only that the starpower has some niche scenarios like it works on flying enemies like janet and mico(also it forces mico to aim bc the speed boost is enough to do that), it basically alerts u when someone is on a bush or invisible while ur super is full and lastly the speed boost has a little delay to wear off that u can basically just a tiny bit when use vanish.
Y'know, now that you mention it, Vigilance is WAY better for my kit than I realized, since Repot has the extra damage, it might be a good substitute for the first Star Power's extra damage More speed means catching up to her targets more, which means charging my super easier, an issue with using Repot as opposed to Vanish, and Repot covers the Extra damage Vigilance lacks
@@GenericSupercellContent thats actually true i might try that later, ur video convinced me to buy repot(the way repot works now was what i thinked it would be a good buff for the gadget but they also need to buff the projectile speed to be able to compete with vanish), also the thing abt lily she relies a lot on speed bc of her lack of range and dmg gear bc its a must on her, i would recommend these builds vigilance/vanish/dmg gear/gadget gear on rather open maps and spiky/vanish/dmg gear/speed gear on bushy maps, ik its a lot of text but i really get carried on when talking abt lily cuz i fell in love with her playstyle since her release, for me atleast she used to be a B tier and i blame the community for this buff but i will admit the buff was kinda needed bc she would get hard countered if there was too much aggression on her
this !!! i’ve always used vigilance because it helps charge that first super which is one of Lily’s problems, along with everything you said. makes for more interesting gameplay than deleting anymore below 8k hp
Funny you mention this, a cancelled video from when I accidentally deleted my footage was based on using terrible Starpowers and Gadgets, low and behold, Poco's Second Gadget was a part of it, maybe I'll revisit this video idea
@@spoopycateatingpopcornis it really? Ability to remove poison,stuns and slows can be really useful in certain situations. I think it's a good counter pick and not a bad gadget at all,just a situational one
@@sher12308 if your timing is really good, then yeah its good But this gadget is insanely situational you can just heal off poison and ignore slows, but if your a second too late on using this gadget , then you'll be stunned Thought you can get good plays if you use the gadget 1 sec before getting stunned
I run vigilance and repot normally so I can consistently poke and pressure and survive comedically bad situations with speed. With vigilance you don’t really need vanish that much but you are sacrificing some burst potential for better poke.
What if the devs weren’t actually being careless and its a perk of the ability for repot s the other gadget has many more uses? It would be better that way ngl
It's not bad, but Lily is kinda useless if she doesn't have super, it's kinda sad because the gadget it's cool, but Lily it's unplayable(at least in 3vs3) without vanish gadget.
Vanish is just way too predictable, too little time to move, everyone knows you're going for the kill or to the nearest bush, it's hard to be unpredictable with it. Of course the potential to escape or dive in completely unseen and unharmed is still unmatched gameplay-wise, I love Repot and I think it fits Lily beautifully but it's utility pales a lot in comparison to Vanish. That gadget should just be removed, it's a Power Surge situation, you get half the benefits of Cordelius' super with just a little green button.
The fact that people think your using the vanish one. So they think you can’t do shiz behind a wall. But surprise surprise is you abouta cook. Plus the 2k dmg adds to that aswell.
As much as I like underrated things, Repot still stands no chance against Vanish gadget. I tried both Star Powers with it but it just sucks, I can’t approach anyone properly half of the game and can’t do early engagement as I can do with Vanish. And the projectile speed of the super with this gadget is just too slow on long range, it literally just makes it worse against her good matchups. And that 1000 damage bonus rlly adds nothing besides some interactions. It might be good on maps with walls against tanks but that is rlly it, I don’t see it having much play unless it gets a projectile speed buff.
Everyone sees vanish coming. Not only is repot underrated, but it also turns lily into a blender at chokepoints like in brawl ball goals. A whole team reduced to nothing in under a second. Theyre definitely gonna nerf her instant unload speed
Indeed, fun fact, when you die or you're one kill away from winning Wipeout, but still throw this, it still deals damage but doesn't teleport you, which leads to some funny kills
Fun little repot glitch that absolutely isn’t useful: if you use repot and then super the ball, every super you use after that will be a repot super until you die.
True, it's WAY more versatile than people took credit for, but Vanish was just more preferred cause it's better in almost every aspect It's cooler, has more use cases, covers her weaknesses better, fits her theme better and so on Regardless, I will stand by the fact that I ABSOLUTELY FUCKING LIVE REPOT, Assassins creed Jump kill type gadget
It's also cooler than Repot Temporarily enter another dimension for 3 seconds, devoid of all conflict so you can reposition or save your ass last second? Or Haha, I can throw my super over walls and it doesn't have to hit the target to teleport me (:
