Nice, it is still a decent game. I do personally enjoy it. It's not as good as the originally trilogy. But i would also say it's much better than Twinsanity, titans, mind over mutant.
Another great video! Honestly i've never played this Crash game... For some reason I wrongly assumed it was a port of Crash 3 Warped! I've no idea why my young brain thought that all those years ago but it did so I just skipped it entirely. I'll give it a go one day..Looking forward to those EPIC GAMEPLAY MOMENTS!
Well to be fair it isn’t that dissimilar to crash 3 warped 😂 if you can find a way of playing it you might enjoy it. There is plenty of epic gameplay moments to be had. Thank you as well for the kind comments
awesome video man, I pretty much agree with everything you said. It's not a great crash game but I still love it. My favorite level is Gold Rush and favorite sound track in the game is Weathering Heights, Its very catchy lol.
Yeah i have pretty much the same opinion. It's still a fun game to play. I would say my top 3 are the gauntlet, Gold Rush & Crash & Burn. Just wish there was more platforming levels like those in the game. A lot of the music is very upbeat although maybe doesn't quite have that nostalgic feeling. I think i also only fully completed the game once. I haven't gone for 100% in a long time.
Am thankful that i never had the chance to play Wrath of Cortex on PS2 based on what i have seen in the review. I mean the animations for a start look really shady. You can tell that this was a different developer to the original trilogy. They obviously enjoyed vehicle levels with so many to choose from including a dodgy hamster wheel. Yep those overhead bars do look ponderous as opposed to Crash 2 sewer levels and Crash 3 Arabian style levels. I also get the sense that Crunch was the main villain in the game with others having support roles (i.e nothing to do). But i can see elements of Wrath of Cortex in the more recent Crash 4.
Yeah it's that really awkward early ps2 animations. It is still an ok game, it's just very mediocre. It has a lot of the same elements from previous games. Just not quite done as well. But yeah crunch was everywhere, it would have been better if you still got boss fights against other bosses. Cortex could have used it as a way of building up the elemental masks powers. Before finally Unleashing them all with crunch. It's a very safe game. Just would have preferred more platforming levels. And more use out of the regular villains. I don't think dingodile or tiny say a single word in the whole game. And N.tropy + N.gin both get a couple of lines in the opening cutscene. Also i wanted a pura level
I remember this Crash Bandicoot game. I used to play it when I was a preteen and teen. I had it for Sony PS2 and Nintendo GameCube. I got the GameCube version for Christmas in 2002 and I got the PS2 version for Christmas in 2004 as well. It is also for Microsoft Xbox. It's alright but it's not quite good as the other Crash Bandicoot games especially the PS1 era. It has far too many vehicle levels. Why can't it have normal levels more than just vehicle levels?! The monkey bar speed seems to be very slow unlike in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. All boss battles are basically just Crunch himself with elemental masks except the final one. Anyway greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
Yeah these are very similar views that i have. I think i remember i got it for christmas but on ps2. It was a tradition to get a new crash and spyro game for christmas. Of course that tradition ended for spyro after enter the dragonfly. I do still come back to this game and i do enjoy it mostly. I just never enjoy it enough to try to fully complete it.
