Any kind of feedback is welcome. Does the beginning of my videos suck? I Do you have an uncontrollable urge to insult my mom? Do you have something else to say ? Make sure to let me know in the comments. #honkaistarrail #starrail
Thing is, freedom is kinda very important to people, like rather die being free than live a life where your future is decided before you were even born. Like see attack on titan for am extreme example, the world you are born is your right and only you get to decide what you do with it, you can choose the bend the knee but tht should be your choice, not bronya's. And Thts probably what went in bronya's head, she just chose to give her people a choice. Which, honestly I'd be so fukin mad if she didn't... Great quest though, really makes you think, there is no right choice.
Yeap you're right, the IPC might have treated Belobog like slaves, but they might have treated them fairly and even improve their lives. We just don't know, I wish it was explained in more detail what "Working for the IPC" really means.
@@wolfisor The conditions are not that great. As per the description of the grunts in-game, "An Interastral Peace Corporation grunt worker whose job mainly involves maintaining order in locations ruled by the IPC. With a meager salary, the only lodging they can afford is a shared room on one of the IPC's enterprise ships." Also, I wouldn't want to work for an undoubtably evil company. As per the curio Silver Coin of Discord's description, "Not all planets opened their arms and welcomed the expansion of the Interastral Peace Corporation's commercial empire. While the cosmic map kept expanding, there were always rare exceptions that refused the IPC's beneficence. "Thank you," they stated, "but we don't need credits. We can look after ourselves just fine." The representative of the IPC would usually shrug at these statements, then casually destroy the root of that planet's commercial system - it was usually based on gold."
@@rest1a There are always going to be people who work shitty jobs and can barely afford to live, I'm sure Belobog has them too but the IPC has a higher ceiling. Topaz was a poor girl from a planet bought by the IPC but she studied hard, worked her ass off(no wonder it's so big) and now she's living the dream. In Belobog tho, it doesn't matter how hard you work, you will never achieve what Topaz has. As for the second paragraph... Damn, I didn't know that, that's brutal... 💀
@@_JoeVer Yeah get it. The IPC probably wouldn't be very kind on Belobog, I just don't like jumping to conclusions. As I said, Topaz and her planet were basically saved by the IPC so they can clearly do good stuff... if they want to
The contract stated that all current and future generations of Bellobog will work for the IPC. They would own their lives in what can only be described as "corporate slavery". Honestly Topaz and her entire character disgusted me and she's my most hated character of the game. I don't want to ever see her again and I hope that demotion hits her HARD. ... Your videos are always a joy to watch though. :)
And the contract also included an 80% chance reconstruction of a frozen planet, and full forgiveness on a multi-trillion credit debt. Oh, and everyone gets work. You have any idea how many societies would die to give work to every single last one of their members? And how much stability it would give their livelihoods? I'd say its much kinder to give everyone a chance at life, than to give everyone freedom. Its hardship either way, why not choose the hardship that also makes sure everyone gets a fair shot at life?
I really wanted to fight her at the end of the mission, but nah they took that away from us, well I'm happy to see someone that agrees with me, I freaking hate her so much along with the rest of the IPC in general (Ratio and Aventurine are cool though)
1:38 speaking of that old junk how many people from Honkai Impact were wanting to call on Welt to help rebuild it with his knowledge so the shield dream could live on PS I chose four legs for land traversal (rough terrain plus stability and reasonability), normal humanlike hand to carry things (like tools and weapons and there really shouldn't be amateurs pilotes piloting them anyways), shield (in case of another invasion because you know the antimatter legion will come back also just borrow some Welt knowledge), and the longer lasting crystalized geomarrow because they will have plenty of time to produce it before the actual robot reaches a functional stage in construction
I mean... we were the ones who started to fight the IPC. She had a job to do, and we were trying to stop her. What was she supposed to do ? Bend over and submit to us ? Of course she's going to fight back (Maybe I'm too much of a simp to think she did anything wrong lmao, idk it just makes sense to me)
GUYS I SWEAR WHEN I SAW HER THE FIRST TIME I THOUGHT SHE WAS REALLY COOL AND I DIDNT JUST PULL CAUSE I WAS HORNI GUYS I SWEAR I DIDNT GET HER LIGHT CONE CAUSE I SIMP Also her nickname *topass* just saying
I used to like her design and stuff.... Then I played her mission and now she's probably the character I hate the most, no hate to her fans of course, still gonna pull for her though
@@wolfisor thanks, I get that a lot of people like her but the way she was acting so high and cocky (and she tried to hurt my man Gepard, one of my favorites in the Jarilo story) just made me really angry, she just seemed like any other debt collector, only caring about getting the money no matter the method, sure she tried to give a solution, but that solution was basically becoming slaves to the IPC for the rest of the planet's existence (if I remember correctly, been quite a while since I played her mission), really wish we got to fight her and just absolutely destroy her, plus we would have probably gotten a cornerstone form for her like Aventurine's
