BD Athlete Noah Howell is known for his steep skiing prowess. However, when the snow melts from the high peaks in the Wasatch range, Howell doesn’t slow down. Applying the same speed that he harnesses on his gnarly descents, Howell focuses his attention on cruising up for a change. For the past several years, he’s been vying for the coveted fastest known time on the ultimate Wasatch testpiece-the South Ridge of Superior. Not sure if you guys check these videos this late, but I was curious about the decent. Do you just reverse the route, or is there a more mellow path for quicker egress?

Hey Josh, the descent involves walking off the summit, but trending "skiers" or "hikers" left (opposite of the ascent) so you eventually link up with the trail opposite or across from the South Ridge. It's a little tricky, but once done, you'll have it dialed.
