Ok. So when you apply UFD try not to over emulsify the gel and over smooth the product in your hair. That is why you feel the need to keep adding UFD, you worked it out of your hair and in your hands. It is better to add UFD in the shower because you can weigh your hair down more. UFD holds a lot of water weight. Always apply the gel to your ends first then work your way up. Your roots will always hold more water than your ends and you can get more hang time. Try to apply your products in fewer sections, then smooth in smaller section to shorten your styling time, making sure to not squeeze the product out. You need more Mousse Deff, about 3-4 pumps per quadrant. Also, UFD & mousse deff is a light to medium weight combo, depending on your surface texture in some areas may not be easily weighed down or smoothed down. With more practice you should be able to style your hair in less than 25mins. Another thing, Mousse Deff dries quickly so you need to be faster at smoothing and raking.
I've only used the doux by itself and it was bomb. I'm scared to use with something else lol, idky. I have the UFD's I might try next wash day. Yours came out beautiful.
Have you ever tried styling your difficult areas on damp hair instead of soaking wet? That way the product can really grip the hair instead of being diluted with so much water .
In this video the soaking wet was more for the product since Curly Magic works better on soaking wet hair where you can avoid that sticky feeling. But yeah I style on damp hair sometimes as well as long as it doesn’t cause an issue with the product and unfortunately that area still acts like that but somehow I still get good definition even tho it looks like that wet. Idk, my hair has a mind of its own. Lol
Hey Crystal, do u know what I’m doing wrong, today wz my wash day. I used Innersense products & my hair felt amazing. I’m noticing after I smooth my hair and when I rake it with my fingers, my hair tangles up, almost in every section. Do u know what I’m doing wrong? I add more water & UFD to each section but it’s not a smooth rake. What am I doing wrong??? Any suggestions? Thanks😏
You using all the gel tells me you don't know the hold and power of that mousse. Gel went to waste, cause the mousse is everything and the hold on it's own is bar none.
