Yes it was very soft and fluffy, I washed it after day 3, because I was itching to deep condition my hair. I think it would have lasted 4-5days without it being a complete afro.

@@ItsAbeeyola interestingly enough, I started using it when I had colour treated hair and it was amazing. The color radiance conditioner is creamy and rich with lots of slip. And now that I’ve actually grown out my colour I still use it. I also use it on both my daughter’s hair. I’d like to give the hydrating conditioner a try as the first time I used it I found it to be really thick and could hardly get it out of the bottle. This was the main reason I ended up purchasing the color radiance conditioner. I agree with you that it’s quite a feat to know what products work and stick with it in the natural community lol. Between kinky curly products, innersense and uncle funky’s daughter curly magic, I’ve found some real winners. Also Trepadora have a fantastic shampoo and curl glaze that I love and The Doux Mousse Def is an amazing multi-style setter.

@@ItsAbeeyola I’ve recently gone back to my natural texture and frankly don’t know what to do when it comes to styling so I keep them braided.

@@CarlineDyer oh nice well come back 😊. Braids are funny can be great protective styles, when done properly. However I would advise to find a good Natural hair stylist, that can help you on this journey, this way you never have to feel overwhelmed. Try to have 1-2 weeks in between your braids so you can slowly start learning more about your hair.

I hope you are better than me and you work in sections. This may help with the timing. Eco style was my go to gel back in the day, it would hold the curl in place 😁. Do you usually wear your hair in a wash n go? And what gel have you used that you love?

@@ItsAbeeyola yes! Sections are the only way to go! 🙌🏾 If not, I’ll be detangling forever between the shrinkage and the curls. Daffodil (my hair’s name) loves to play games and show out! 😂 Especially with twist outs and wash and go’s.... in sections of course! 😉 Eco and Daffodil are the best of friends! I have not found any other gel to play nice and last more than a week! 🤷🏾‍♀️ As the saying goes, “if it’s not broke, don’t try to fix it!” Although I’m not shy in trying new products but I always return to my holy grails.

I feel you on if it ain't broke...if your hair is striving then I say keep doing what you doing. But if looking for another play date for daffodil maybe TGIN, it's a pretty thick gel too, reminds me of Eco. Which eco do you use? My mum swears by the Argan oil(red) one. I've only use the olive oil (green). Mmm maybe I need to give my tresses a name too?

@@ItsAbeeyola I absolutely LOVE 😍 TGIN!!! Strangely enough I haven’t tried their gel yet! I’ll have to try! My fav is the honey hair mask! I’ve tried the argan, castor, blue, pink and clear Eco gels and Olive (green) is my true ride or die! It’s the only one with the best hold! It’s been going 10 years strong with me! 🥇I told you... Daffodil is sassy and full of attitude! 😂 Let us know once you’ve come up with a name! 😉

@@GDaEssence Yes i love TGIN's hair cream, i have used it under eco gel and curls were popping! and soft!...i will try the honey hair mask, I need to get my hair and myself back in shape. So hair masks will be my new big thing.. . I want to try Naturall, have you tried it?

Hmm technically yes you can air dry. However air drying usually cause frizz. So if you don't have a hooded drying, you can use a diffuser instead.

I can not wait to hear or see your results. So do you do your wash and gos inside the shower or out of the shower?

@@ItsAbeeyola So far I do them outside but right after I rinse my conditioner out in the shower I step out so I can see what I’m doing in my bathroom mirror. I’ve thought of getting a fogless shower mirror so I can see what I’m doing. It would be hard for me to see which parts are defined enough inside the shower with no mirror.

I guess that makes sense too, I'm thinking along the lines of washing my hair them coming out to try and record, I tried it and my hair was dry🤣. I have a mirror in the shower but not fogless. That's what I need to get. Which gels have been your go to?

@@ItsAbeeyola 😂😂😂 dry as in your hair dried out too quickly? Of so I’m with you my hair is of a higher porosity naturally I don’t have thick strands very fine. So far I’ve only been using Uncle Funky’s and I bout KeraCare Natruals Twist & Define cream as recommended by black girl curls for twist outs since I like the stretched and elongated look that eventually just ends up looking like a stretched wash n go. I have used The Doux Foam recently but returned it after trying it a couple times. I have a whole list of new things to try though with the hydration method.

@@PreppyFay12 Yes hair dried out from the shower to setting up my camera lol... oh nice did you join the blackgirlcurls community? I read their book wash your damn hair, very interesting. I follow their system for my wash and go's. I liked the doux foam, I recently purchased it again to mix with another product. I hardly do the twist outs because I feel i dont have dense hair. although when my hair was past bra strap level i could rock a twist out because with length also come fullest as it shrink's. Well as you try the new products do share, always on the look out great products. Although Uncle funky's is top of my list, thats the one to beat.

Yes I love this rat tail comb, I had seen some creators on YT using it and wondered where they got it from. Then boom saw it at my HEB store 💃💃I got like 4.... this leave was my first on my natural hair journey maybe that's why it's dear to me😁... okay so if you have never done a wash and go, I would advise to start with uncle funky's daughter curl stimulator I love that stuff.
