Ahhh! I’m so late to the comments sorry!! The gel I used is the Aunt Jackie’s Flaxseed Don’t Shrink Curling Gel! I think I’ve used it on a wash-n-go video before but it’s soooo good! One of the only gels I use consistently when I’m not using a foam! ❤

love the results, I feel like you addressed almost all my hair issues. By chance do you color your own hair or get it done professionally. Also when cutting your hair do you do it dry or wet?
I have the same problem with my curl pattern. The hair in the front is a 2, 3a and 3b. I have to work hard to make it blend. I don't have any damage. The curls grow in a loose curl pattern. I use flex rods to help. I'd rather not bother, but I have to do what I gotta do.
@@Stephaniealicianaturalhair I'll look for it. I have been rocking a keratin treatment. I have been wearing my hair straight for four months. I have no heat damage. My hair is so healthy. The express keratin treatment is more affordable. It lasts for three months. That's less work for me with a torn rotator cuff and nerve pain in my back. Wash and goes takes too much work.

Hey! Thank you I’m glad to be back! I know that color plays a big part in my hair getting damaged because that always happens to me overtime when I color it. However the extreme roughness I believe was caused by me taking Biotin for a few months. Someone in the comments mentioned that if your body produces enough of a certain thing (any vitamin really) it can have a negative effect on you if you take additional supplements of that. So for ME, as someone who has never had a problem with hair growth, I believe that taking Biotin was overkill. My mom who is a licensed cosmetologist, said she has seen this happen to multiple clients in her years of hairstyling so that is what I believe happened. I hope that helps! 🩷
Only thing I heard bad about it is that it can break people out or when you stop taking it people have had bad effects like hair loss or that you get hair everywhere not just your head? I heard if your taking actual real biotin but you never can know for sure with all the brands on the market what is authentic or not
