@@OnlyOneJess poor. BABY you broke mt heart jess when yoy cut dye hair but i knew it was gonna grow back and faster than you think now I am happy for. You because that wild growth ain't nothing but the truth okay yesaaa
@@OnlyOneJess I wear my twist out the last week. So I have the twists in for 3 weeks (moisturizing it every week) & on the 4th week I take it out & wear my hair out & wash it at the end of the week. Just my way of trying to enjoy my hair while I protective style as well 😅
Jess Siss .... Why don’t you do “how I maintain my protective style” type videos??? You don’t always have to be doing your hair for us sis! I love seeing how other people maintain their hair or like how long the style last. ❤️
Just a little tip; what I do is bring the garbage bin right at the shower entrance, so I just stick my hand out and throw the hair away. I personally don't like to see hair on the wall. No judgment, just a quick tip that might help for anyone who feels like I do.
The brown patch is PROBABLY from your face wash Jess. It happens to me. I use a wash tht contains 10% benzoyl peroxide & pretty sure Thts the cause of my brown edges.
@@ToxicFunnyNes Peroxides (there’s different types) are more effective at killing certain types of acne bacteria than salicylic acid. Also peroxide and bleach are completely different chemicals. Peroxide is significantly weaker than straight bleach.
I JUST watched Malcolm & Marie last night. Admittedly halfway through I was like, “Ok so they’re just gonna continue to go back n forth 😏”. BUT, by the end I thought it was worth the watch. And sis, dem end coils tho!!! I feel like I can never get my ends to coil like that.
Yes Malcom and Marie was so so interesting but goodddddd. I think it shows how adversity plays a crucial role in the rest of the affected's life. Marie is every unappreciated woman mixed with an insecure "survivor" who doesn't believe the abuse is over.
I feel like Malcolm and Marie was like watching a TV drama and I skipped to a random episode without watching the show from the beginning lmaoo.. I feel like it was really interesting, but it was like I feel like I need to be filled in on what previously happened in their relationship even though they go into detail about a lot of their problems ya know what I mean? 😂
Your literally just so beautiful I’m still astounded by your beauty after years of watching😍😍😍😍. Your hair is everything and one of the reasons I big chopped my color damaged hair off and it’s already growing back super fast. My black hair is more beautiful than the red color I had.
I loved the results!! Tbh Jess when you first cut your hair was around the same time I cut my hair due to color damage (and I had color damage too from dyeing my hair red) and I was so happy cause I didn’t feel alone growing my hair out again healthy!! We also have similar textures too and my hair literally is as long as yours now! I’m proud of us lol thanks for these videos 💖
How is your hair growing so fast though like we cut our hair around the same time and I’m still looking like a broccoli 😂😂😂... your hair looks great though
Yes another upload 🌸🌸🌸. Can we just admire her beautiful skin! ❤️❤️❤️ I can’t wait to get out of the twa stage. Girl I’m watching that movie right now.
Nice that you got them taken out so easily. I don’t do my hair in mini-twist because they don’t last in my hair. In a few days they start to unravel themselves. Nice video.
You’re hair is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I’m working on sharing my hair care journey and videos like this really help me to learn and grow as I go. Stay lovely 🥰
@@OnlyOneJess When you literally said if I didn't have to film content so I can make money I will have left it in that style for a week. People don't understand this is your living and the way you make your money .
@@trishalachell PLEASE say it again sis lol like I can’t keep a style in for 4 weeks how ima pay my bills lol thank you for understanding what I was trying to say ❤️
If you found out what lightened your hair please let us know. It’s still beautiful, adds a uniqueness, plus healthy hair is all that matters. FYI that braid out is everything 🥰
This is so beautiful. You are are so beautiful. Love your videos. Took a break from them cause I was on dreads but still loved to watch. Now I am back to complete natural hair no more dreads and also back to your channel. Thank you
Your hair turned brown because of the sun. This summer was the first time in years I didn't put braids in my hair. You would think I had all the time in the world with covid. I no longer swim in pools. Was afraid to go to the ocean. Your hair is growing so beautifully. Peace.
Haaaaay Jess 😘😘 two things I learned in this video, as I've been wearing mini twist as a protective style as well. One, take twist out further especially in the front to prevent more tangles in the wash. Two, rewet hair to each section before applying product, I also have low porosity hair. Thanks sis!!!❤❤❤ But I'll do that in 2 weeks cause theres no way I'm not rocking this 💣 twist out!!😁❤❤
Braid out is SICK!! and I love that au naturale products too. They tend to keep my hair a lil more moisturized and stretched more than anything i've ever used. Been wearing my natural texture for 10 years.
Just watching this. Regarding the hair turning brown…the same thing happened to me .. the front of my hair is protein sensitive so if you use it or protein based products don’t leave them on too long or you should mix them with a moisturizing product. Two strands turned gray but I pulled them and they didn’t come back grey. Also, use Rosemary essential oil with your hair oil. It stops the hair from graying or slows it down.
I think that wild growth oil has been making purple spots on my pillow cases. It's either that or any texture ID styling creme. Both amazing products but weird that that happens 🤷♀️
I have the same hair type and hair shape as you as well as low porosity hair. I thoroughly ENJOY your videos. Thanks to you, I finally got a hair regimen that I will be using. My hair is a little shorter than yours so I hope I can get to your hair length in 6 months!
You 👏came 👏through! 👏 I enjoyed watching this video. It was so satisfying and informative. Love learning new hair tricks from you. Keep it up girl! 👌👌👌
@@OnlyOneJess I’m no RU-vidr lol butttt i remember seeing someone else having this problem & they found out their mic was basically too close to the camera... hope this helps❤️
I just recently brought a tub ring to catch my hair (Amazon) but I used to do the same; but the extra hair on my shower walls to keep my drain from clogging up. Amazon has a sink ring to catch hair. Great Video!!
It's not that people hurts your feelings, it's that people don't want to hear all of the arguing so they stop talking. We need to stop acting like we have won the argument just because the person stops talking. Respect each other, take a breather, and discuss things in a healthier way. You'll never know who you're pushing away.
*about the browning hair* this happened to me a few years ago and it was because I went into the pool and instead of washing out the chlorine l didn't was my hair (like a dummy). I would do this for days at a time. When I went to get my hair braided my stylist told that my hair was black and brown (i have never dyed my hair or any coloring of any kind) and she said that the sun had bake the chlorine in my hair (basically the sun dyed my hair using chlorine). I am new to your channel, idk if you have recently traveled or anything like tht but this could be the reason for the browning hair.
