So glad you did a review of these rugs. We own washable rugs from another company and having to reapply the rubber lining after washing them is such a job. We've just placed our order, with your discount code thank you very much, and can't wait to use them.
That’s awesome! You’re going to love them, especially if the old ones you were referring to are the same ones we used to have. Those liners are a pain!
Hi guys! Thanks for the information & discount code. I tried Ruggales but after several washes they didn’t fit the bottom piece right. I like how these are only one piece. Love nice area rugs. Safe travels! 😊🇺🇸
It will be a sad day, for me at least, to see your Mountain Aire be replaced. I'm astounded at how nice looking you've both kept it all these years! It's a good example for me to shoot for! If you replace it you will lose or have to redo your solar, glendinning cord reel and other awesome mods you've done over the years. All that said, there's some good new tech in RVs these days. I mean, I can turn on Awning lights over the internet so they're on when we get back in the dark.
Thanks so much for your kind words, John! We appreciate it, but don’t be too worried. We’re mostly window shopping and dreaming with no immediate plans. But you never know!
Great review of those rugs, it is so hard to find good quality area rugs that you can wash, our last ones we had for the house the backing disinterested in the washer it was a mess. Will definitely put these on my next go to rug. It is also hard to find good quality with color options, we are very color expressive in our home and in our RV, we love color and the statement it makes for us. Will have to check their options and see about the colors they have.
Been Watching you guys for years. Love the carpets (have 2) Thanks for all the great tips and info over the years. YOU? New RV huh? Like to watch that process. How have those solar panel auto tilts holding up? Been thinking about them getting harder to climb the RV these days. Take care and keep it between the ditches guys.
Thanks for the nice comments and great question! There’s some very big MAYBE caveats to even considering a new rig…. But we’ve been looking! SolaRVector tilt kits are still working like new!
I love you guys, been watchin' for a couple of years, and know you love to share awesome things but I felt like I just watched a 4.5 min commercial for a rug. It felt forced and not genuine. Your step by step, repair/upgrades are my favorite. Thanks for all your hard work. I know filming things makes fixing something more frustrating and time consuming.
Hi Nick. For sure, we don’t always have things to fix or upgrade! LOL But what may have come off as forced, is actually enthusiasm. We’d been using Ruggable rugs for some time, and although we liked them at first, the covers slowly shrank after washing, no longer covering the base pads. And after a while, aligning the base and cover went from being a novelty to being a pain. We became frustrated with those, which is why we took them down off our website. But we love having the floor covered, and when we discovered My Magic Carpet, it ticked every box for us as a big improvement. It’s kind of like with our old Blue Ox tow bar, which we thought was OK for years… until we discovered Roadmaster and finally knew what we’d been missing! This was exactly the same thing. These rugs are better in every way, and cost a lot less, too. Something to get enthusiastic about for sure!
@@RVgeeks Thanks for replying! I know that great feeling when you do find the holy grail of a product you've been searching for. Keep up the great work! I don't RV but still like hearing about the products you do find useful or cool. Enjoy those rugs and your RV does look great after 16 years:)
