That is a sneaky way to have a hot ( or dual fill ) fill washing machine without the cost of one ( Ebac £550 min ) . I am impressed with your ingenuity!! 👍
I was just thinking about doing this but I see a problem…. If you set it to 40degrees for the W/M when it comes to the rinse cycle it will be rinsing with hot water not cold ??? Unless you manually turn it down mid cycle.
@davidrussell7837 You're right... I figure it'll only take hot water if it's in the cylinder/calorifier, this set-up won't get any more hot made if what's in the cylinder becomes cold. If I do turn it down mid cycle then I'm better off, else I make the decision to run a cold fill or a warm rinse depending what I decide... At least I have options though - I can't know whether I'll be bothered enough to actively manage it until I'm living with it.
