This wasn't the information that I needed, but the presentation was so good that I had to watch it. One never knows what the next repair will be. Thank you!
Self diagnostic mode ran on the Washer without any lights lit up for error codes, but when loaded with clothes and started the water hoses feeding the washer hum and doesn't fill like it did when purchased, but can cut water input off and back on and it will fill but start humming again , I don't remember the water hoses feeding the washer humming when on auto sensing, I bought a numbers matching washer water inlet valve , and have replaced the drain motor because the electric went out last winter and because there was frozen water at drain pump and didn't know and it weakened the drain motor to where when water was low it wouldn't pump water out to drain pipe so replaced that, so with the current issue about the humming water hoses and and water doesn't seem to fill the tub , so I will remove hoses and check for clogs and check the water inlet valve and all electrical connections associated with the water inlet valve before replacement..
What's crazy is if I cut water off by hand and back on the water flows awhile before stopping again to make hum noise at water hoses everything after the filling up of water works properly
I plugged in my Kenmore washing machine & didn't know the knob was already powered on & when I plugged it into the wall & it made an electric sound & stopped working, blew a fuse or what??
We do apologize that has happened. What is your model number of the washer and we will be more than happy to look into this for you to see what has happened.
i had a kenmore w10318791 in storage for multiple years. my current one went bad so i got the kenmore out of storage, hooked it up and it lights up green light (fill) and red light Locked lid, but does not fill. Just make a hum noise down by the pump, resistor area. Ill assume somwthing is froze up from sitting. ?
Can you please verify that model number for me? If the washer come but there is no water coming into the machine you could be having an issue with the water valve. Do you happen to have a multimeter?
@@appliancepartspros my old washer worked on the same lines, so i know i have water I checked the inlets coming into the newer washer for clogs. I have access to one yes. im not sure what you mean by varifying....i took a pik of the serial number its w10318791 white amtrims b is what is printed on the back of unit
Do you happen to have a multimeter? I need the model number of the washer not the serial number. Normally with a Kenmore it has 3 numbers then a dot and the remaining numbers for the model number.
@@appliancepartspros im at work and not near the machine. I have the drum and lower guts with me, but i dont see a model number on the parts i do have with me. yes i have access to a multiple.meter
When you get home if you can find the model number we would be able to assist you to see what all could be going on with your machine. You can test the water valve for voltage to see if it has the correct voltage coming to it.
Check circuit breakers / fuse box first. My machine wasn’t getting any power. No noise. Nothing. So I checked the circuit breakers first and nothing was tripped. I shut the breakers and turned them back on anyway and voila. I heard the machine start filling with water.
I do not understand all that is said , the machine did the first and second wash then just clicking with the green light on spin and the red light comes on and off with a clicking sound.
