the final moments of last two freelancers of project freelancer #rvb #restoration #redvsblue #restoration #rvb #washington #finale #carolina #halo #carwash
@mattragusa210 Then let that be your reason for this scene. The old Rooster Teeth wouldn't want us to remember them for what they became. They would want us to remember them for what they were, through all of the good and bad moments they had, for all the funny and sad moments they also had, its the memories that we hold in our hearts that we need to cherish the most. We'll definitely miss Burnie, Gus, Geoff, Jack, and all the other founders of Rooster Teeth, but let us honor the memories they gave us, ONLY the good memories they gave us.
@@WrathNebula321Exactly. “Remember the things they taught you…” Anything can turn into a success story, if you’re determined enough and take the opportunities that come by. “… pull from their strengths …” Don’t let the world jade you. Rooster Teeth’s greatest strength was just being real, being themselves. “… and learn from their mistakes.” We all know what happened to them in the end, and how they got there. An awful workplace environment and unmonitored, irresponsible executives is what led to them going bankrupt and being bought out. Be kind; don’t divide people, don’t betray them, and don’t abuse them.
“It’s hard to let go..” I felt like Washingtons voice actor always gave it 100%, up there with Carolina and Tex, hearing his voice crack up like that really sealed the deal. Glad he was able to come back for this final season.
Man, I was sad when it was revealed Doc was dead the whole time since the final battle on Chorus. It was sad knowing that happened to him, but sweet in a way that Wash cares enough about him to remember him like this. Seeing all the other Freelancers return via Wash's memories was nice, since normally Carolina is the one to look back fondly on them all, but this shows Wash really considered them all his friends, even Maine after what he did. I'm glad he still has Carolina though.
That twist that Doc was in Washington's head was heartbreaking. Wash wal.always my favourite and that character that fit the gap between the Reds and Blues and the Freelancers. Seeing him go through some PTSD and guilt over Docs death was a moment so well done. His arc had been weird this whole time, but the reveal was painful in a great way.
@@Domination-yv1ct That was still Doc, it is just that everything from Seasons 15-18 are confirmed to be simulations that Epsilon ran before he died, so none of them were real events.
It was't his duty, he went above and beyond. "I'm not a doctor, I'm a medic." -Doc "What's the difference?" -Tucker "Well, a doctor cures people. A medic just makes them more comfortable...while they die." -Doc
I just wished they showed all that on-screen instead of just telling us about this emotional moment we never even see I also wish we got to see tucker’s transformation into the meta, making the reveal of his return more impactful instead of church just showing up and explaining the plot. This season was just way too short with too much told without showing
@@guyferrari8124it’s really apparent that they wanted this season to be longer, but WB basically shut down all hope (thanks WBD for shutting down Rooster Teeth😒, right when RvB finally found it’s footing back and Burnie was back writing)
At least Carolina is there for Washington, may the ship sail, and a final send off for the freelancers and AI. RIP for the fallen *salute* (Red leader sarge, fallen freelancers, Doc/O'Malley, at least church is with Tex now) We're gona miss you guys so much 😢
The ship will sail westward into the undying lands. There they shall live on for as long as we remember them and hold them dear in our hearts. This was an amazing show and it’s sad to finally see it end, but life he rules and facts. One of the facts is that nothing lasts forever. Empires, Ideals, and more have tried, it eventually all met their inevitable ends. So too must one of our favorite series and the company with which it all began. There is a bitter sweetness to it all. Knowing the way things have been falling apart behind the scenes at RT for years and seeing the company lose itself is hard in its own way, but remembering the good times and holding onto those nostalgic fun, happy, joyful, and heartfelt moments that’s the sweet to it all. Every journey begins with a single step and so too now at the disbanding of Rooster Teeth does this one also end. We will always have the episodes, the videos, the stories, the memories, the music, and the love for the content. Now as tears subside and friends go their separate ways the final curtain finally falls. All that matters in the end was that they stood tall, they faced it all, and did it their way. Thank You to the Rooster Teeth and all of its members from start to finish for the excellent work and dedication. I wish happiness, success, wellness, and luck upon them all. I hope to see them again in new projects in the future.
Man, to see again Captain Butch Flowers and hear that bit of the Speech really hit me hard. As someone who been watching RvB since it's Haydays. I mean, the last time we heard him was in the good ol Meta Arc and he was a cold son of a gun and to be shown that Florida is Flowers, that blew many of us.
Yess I wish that in season 14 they explored how Flowers interacted with the other freelancers in one of the episodes I’m sure he probably got along best with CT and Wash considering that they were the only ones kind to the triplets
North and everyone else coming in completely threw me off guard. I wish all the characters shared at least 1 scene together. Regardless, I'm happy we got this, glad we have closure. Thank you for everything Red vs. Blue, I'll cherish the memories for the rest of my life, memory is the key.
When I watch this scene I think Washington is like epsilon in flesh the way he remembers the freelancers like the way epsilon remembered all the other AI fragments he learned from them and Washington's doing the same and also it's like a call back to the days of project freelancer where Washington's AI was supposed to be epsilon so I guess memory is key after all and all you have to do is have faith for what's next. Ain't that a bitch.
@@amitkenan3878 Yeah but even just a mutual goodbye would’ve been nice, but I guess Tex saying goodbye to literally nobody is still kinda a poetic ending
To all who are sad that RT is no more. "Memory is the key." Ups and downs, it's what made this an experience for a lot of us growing up around these idiots who went from standing around in a canyon to bringing down a military project and saving an independent planet from tearing itself apart. While I wish this could've been longer and had more resources put into production, I'm glad it ended this way. We'll still have these series to watch and remember the good times. Memory is the key.
This moment honestly feels like the devs of RvB talking to the fans, it's got similar vibes to Goku's speech in episode 60 of DBZA, and I mean I hate to see the series end, mostly because it's going to be weird not seeing a RvB season based around whatever new thing comes from Halo it became just as important if not more so than the games for Halo's success, but it's good they got to get one last "hurrah" on their own terms rather than leave anything unsaid.
Wasn't there best season/movie, but it did give closure to the franchise. I certainly wished we saw what happened in the final battle on Chorus or see what happened to some characters that led them to these circumstances, but I did feel satisfied and happy at the end. It also felt bittersweet knowing that the journey was over... but as Epsilon said Memory is the key
Honestly? I'm glad we never saw the final battle on Chorus. The way S13 ended, with all of them ready for a fight against all odds for survival . . . I don't think even Monty could've delivered on that one. Every once in a while, it's better to let the audience have their own ideas of what happened rather than to fall well short of the hype.
Tbh I feel like the season was meant to have more, but was ultimately rushed which is why it kinda feels like it didn’t have everything it was supposed to. Still, it tied up the series in a nice, bittersweet way 😭
@@nicholasfarrell5981 Man, seeing Monty animate a fight scene of a super-powered Tucker absolutely wrecking shit, with both Wash and Carolina fighting as quickly as they can to get to the Reds and Blues, as the Reds and Blues themselves struggle to hold their position.
I just realized Carolina said goodbye to her mother Tex. As sad and emotional as this series was. I still hope there will be more some day. Maybe say this was just one simulation. Maybe in another one we get everyone back alive. All the freelancers, church, Tex, doc. Sarge, Even have locus come back! Bernie don’t let Red Vs Blue die like this. There are so many different stories you could continue Red Vs Blue for the fans. I truly loved this season so much that I don’t want to see it end!
Wash remembering every freelancer hit so hard he was like the little brother of the team and had his memories/identity messed up after getting the memories of the alpha. now he’s one of the only to make it
This whole scene is the primary reason that I was crying so hard every time I watched it (I’ve already watched it 10 times..) resonating with Washington within the moment, struggling to let go.. I feel like Wash is the vessel for the viewers in this case, and Carolina, the other freelancers and Doc was more or less RT talking to the viewers… I don’t want to let go…
It certainly wasn't perfect, especially because of its circumstances, but i think this season is what we needed. There's nothing left to go on from here. Everything is tied up. It really is hard to let go. But we for sure aren't going to forget it, and its spirit is going to live on. Good luck, CRASH. Youre gonna do just fine.
Though I always felt that church and Carolina had more of a sibling connection, now that I think bout it, it’s because Church is simply a younger version of her father so she was simply more comfortable with him. But still it’s funny that the person to say the final goodbye was the one who killed him most of the time. The series needed a good ending and well “the right part is always the sad part”
This was such a sad realization after everything, that he was just dead the whole time. But wasn’t doc on the ship? How did he get to wash? Or do we just assume it was after the room part
Wait was doc dead? i think i miss understood that part was it all in washes head? i watched it but never got this part. frick man this made me even sader seeing north popping up made me just too emotional.
Doc died during the battle of Chorus. Wash's grief over it caused him to hallucinate Doc being there and talking to him. if you look at their conversations, Wash appears in Doc's helmet reflection, yet Doc doesnt appear in Wash's. even him saying that he would always be there to talk to Wash because he didnt work at the hospital was another sign. It took a rewatch to realize that it was hinted upon the entire time
@@ArcTrooperRod-269 Yeah, but Doc was also one with his O'Malley persona, AND had a Rocket Launcher, if anything, despite being a pacifist, he should have been among one of the better fighters present
Those seasons are different simulations that Church ran during the final seconds of season 13. This whole season is one of them, in this simulation, Doc is killed trying to heal Wash. This simulation is also considered to be canon outcome of season 13
@@LopezCreationsI find it funny that Epsilon went completely off the rails and completely believed that the bois could have run into evil doppelgängers and time travel and gods while trying to find a way to stop the new meta
@@azeemman9478 Yeah imagined it was York too. Doubt Wyoming uses a shotgun instead of a Sniper Rifle (as seen since throughout the Blood Gulch Chronicles & the Project Freelancer Flashbacks in Seasons 9 & 10).
Wyoming is the only one who didn't have any relationships with the others at all. No friendships or rivalries, he didn't even care about any of them, he wouldn't care enough to show up here to comfort Wash
@CDNBreadDogs CT and Washington barely had a relationship and when Washington traveled through time it showed South was more of a bully to him than anything, she left him for dead and Wash ended up killing her.
I didn't want to watch this cuz I wanted to maintain the idea that somehow Red vs Blue will still go on... But... i still cant believe it... Red vs Blue... RoosterTeeth.... is over 🥺😭💔
They retconned everything after season 13, so this is the what is actually cannon. All the other seasons are just simulations Epsilon was running. Do doc did die on chorus.
All this time. Wash was the worst of the best. Now. Hes the one who went beyond his fauth and became something more. May the lancers forever rise to the stars Edit: Now i think about it. Wash was The Epslion was the lancers
When I first saw Wash talking to Doc inside of the... Clinic? Whatever you call it, my brain randomly just went "Wait, did Doc die, and is Wash just talking to himself? Man, wouldn't it be crazy...?" And then when Carolina said "You know, you don't have to blame yourself" I just went "No fucking way." Honestly can't believe my shot in the dark was right. I still don't know what it is, something about that scene composition just gave me that weird thought.
@@LumStormtrooper No, except the thought didn't happen when they interacted with anybody else, it happenend some time during when we first see Wash talking to Doc. Everything else around it kinda just started making me slightly more suspicious, but I just kept going "naaahhh, it can't be" in my head.
...If Doc is dead in Chorus, then how is he is able to assist the Blood Gulchers throughout the years and in later seasons in physical terms without anyone noticing his presence and how did everyone's able to talk to him as if he is alive despite the fact that he is technically dead... And including his presence in the Shinso Paradox...
Those seasons are retconned and doc is dead in restoration. but you can choose to believe this season was a simulation and those seasons were the actual events that happens after Chorus
Some of them were the best (North, York, c.t.). Some of them were the worst (South, Wyoming, Florida). and one was simply a victim of circumstance (Maine)
@@buchinyan1019 In season 14 it was shown that he was actually a sociopath, willing to let his soldiers be killed and implanted the Alpha into the brain of the innocent rookie Jimmy against his will, causing him excruciating pain in the process
@@amitkenan3878 i mean most of project viewed soldiers as expendable. Like carolina in the season 15 flashback. he’s not rlly antagonistic either, just doing his job.
He died off-screen, during the final battle at the end of Season 13. Apparently after Wash and Carolina arrived to help get them out, Doc was killed saving Wash.
This doesn’t make sense. When Doc and wash are first seen in restoration Doc is standing and you can see his shadow on the exit door of the medical facility as him and wash are talking. So if he was dead how the hell could he cast a physical shadow!?!?!?
He was a friend to Washington. You can see him interacting him during them grabbing those weapons and where he first got the brute shot. And in season 8 when Meta didn't have the AI's he kinda returned to normal. Even south was there and she killed north. The only one that wasn't there is Wyoming because he wasn't close with him at all
Not Maine, the Meta. Tucker tried to murder them many times under the metas control too, but look at him when he made it out. Maine had just been tortured for too long, and wasn’t able to come back when he lost the AI
Such a pity the creators took a piss on all the RvB fans mere months before this dropped. It could have ended better. It should have ended better. Now... Looking at this and Caboose's mediocre new voice... It's just... Meh
