Rick, I've watched footage of Sunday multiple times and Mariota really was great once he got his rhythm. I had my doubts it was still there with Marcus, and I know it's the Panthers, but some of those throws were great
Oh my, such a chess game. That’s why the Bears are not saying if their starting safety and corners are playing, so they can keep the Washington coaches up all night.
I'm sure the League would love the ancient rivalry between Chicago and Washington in the 1930's to return with double the force. Gibbs v Ditka wasn't bad either.
@@kingsway757 In 1937, the Redskins beat the Bears 28-21 for the NFL Title. To your point, the rivalry began in 1940 when the Bears humiliated the Skins 73-0.
You have to laugh at the Bears fans obsession with JD. They say things like "who have you played", there were 3 teams we played, on Monday nite, and they didn't disappoint. Meanwhile Bears played against Anthony Richardson, Trevor Lawrence, and Will Levis (yeah they played against CJ Stroud, and lost). I don't recall any team they played, that had a Robinson or Derrick Henry on it, let alone Baker Mayfield and Lamar Jackson. If you look at the Bears schedule, yikes! We have an easier time of it, but we won't look past teams in our division, we were 0-6 last year, payback time.
Play Mariota he was quite good - excellent really when you consider the circumstances. Not that much difference between the two. Success using Mariota without Daniels proves this is really a great team. Just like success without Eckler or John Allen. It's a great feeling. Something special is happening.
Why didn’t he run out of bounds? Did he think he could go all the way for a TD? Love the guy but he’s no use off the field. We all remember RG3, I hope history doesn’t repeat itself.
Hopefully, after the injury scare he has learned his lesson! If not he's not as intelligent as I thought! After all he did have 60 sacks in his last 2 years.🤔
