Not a Washington fan, but Taylor Heinicke just has that X Factor. He’s smart, tough, gritty, resourceful, and he doesn’t fold under pressure. He’s not the most accurate or fast throwing, but he gets it done

As an old Texas fan, I'm pleased with how Ehlinger did as well. A few times he seemed a little nervous with pressure and the pocket collapsing, not making a decision on what to do as quickly as he probably should, but not really unexpected. That dropped pass on the second to last play was quite unfortunate, and also his 3rd down run that came up inches short on their 2nd to last possession.

Yea but it's evident Matt ryan isn't necessarily the whole problem... The offensive line just isn't playing as well as expected. If Ryan has protection he's above average still. But the colts defense played well.

Washington never gives not so experienced QBs time to develop like the eagles have done with Hurtz or the giants with Daniel Jones even though he still isn’t great he’s showing improvement obviously. But they always give the past couple QBs a year to get them far into the playoffs and then drops them. If we gave Kirk another year and put weapons around him he would probably still be here as our franchise QB instead of beings the Vikings QB.

There front office is fascinated with getting other teams QBs versus trying to build around with what you have. They have done this for a loooong time. They should have paid Cousins when they could have gotten him for cheap but they screwed that all up. Guess what they will do again....get another QB next year who has bounced from team to team.

Sam was good this game. Other than his fumble, he did really well. He avoided a few sacks with his legs. That O-line though is atrocious. Sam looke pretty composed in the pocket the second half. 73% on his completions and 203 yards and no Interceptions. Not bad for a first start.
