By the way I really love both the choices for background music and am delighted that the music isn't at a volume which overwhelms the narration. Im a bit of a nerd , listening to lots of archaeology & history items. Many items at RU-vid have potentially fascinating history to tell...but are overwhelmed by loud or raucous music. DC does not equal the government. It is a majority African American community that has been fighting for the right to vote and self-determination since the Civil War. DC residents were only allowed to vote for the president in 1961 as part of the Civil Rights movement. DC still does not have full representation in Congress despite the fact that Congress has control over DC's budget. That hive of scum and villainy you mentioned kicks around the over 770,000 residents of DC as a political game.
