Walking tour in Washington DC, monuments area, starting at 10:30AM on the 3rd of August, 2023.

This video was filmed during a layover in Washington, where I hadn’t been for quite some time. I was looking forward to filming it, as it’s one of the cities in the US that I most enjoy visiting. There are lots of things to see and visit and it is easy to get yourself entertained no mater how you enjoy spending your time.
Unfortunately, some of the main spots were in construction (Lincoln Memorial, Thomas Jefferson Memorial and the Capitol) therefore I wasn't able to properly show them without some sort of construction material or fences being shown.
I also got to film a little bit of Georgetown area towards late afternoon, but wasn’t able to make it too long or detailed as rain started approaching. Will be posting that video next!
This is also the longest video I have made and the longest I have walked in a single day while filming, but definitely enjoyed myself. It’s one of those cities where you don’t realise how much you walk until you look at your phone or smartwatch and you see that you received a congratulations message for beating your record on step count (over 35k steps that day).
I tried making the route as short as possible, having in mind I wanted to show you most of what there is to see in Washington in the park area, however it ended up being the longest one I filmed . Hope you enjoy!!
