This popped up on my screen and I took a look because I’ve lived in the DC area for 30 years. Thanks for reminding me of what a fantastic city we live in, surrounded by so much history and as you pointed out, great architecture and art. It was really nice to see it through fresh eyes. Enjoy your travels!
What a great film. Looking at the architecture and the art galleries was fascinating. Nice touch including the capital building tour and also your parents. Looking forward to the rest of the Road trip.
DC is such a cool place to go, I been many times and have always wanted to go to see the Portrait Gallery that place looked really cool, it did take me a few trips to see a lot of the sites there but theres always more. I really like the newseum.
LOL! Armpit wash! You crack me up! So excited to see D.C. through your eyes! Love the quality of your work. At one point or another in every one of your vlogs I literally get overwhelmed.
Glad you hit DC before you left the East Coast. Very sad that you guys never went to New England, especially after seeing the photos from the trip. Put Maine/Mass. on the list for the return trip!
I am Grilled that you guys are back especially it’s a joy to your tour of Washington DC it was one of my favorite cities to visit I don’t know if I’d like to live there but anyway I’m really looking forward to the rest of your journey as you go to Portland so can’t wait.😊👍👍
Have been thinking of you both and praying for you. I enjoyed this so much. I have been to DC (last time 2009). Did not visit the Smithsonian museums due to time. You are so right-the architecture is astounding. I was struck by how few tourists were there. Boy you guys had it made in the shade in that regard!! This film and the music you chose was spot on. So cool you got a private tour of the capital. Glad to see you back. I missed you! P.S. I am watching Ric Burn's documentary on New York City again (one of my most favorite documentaries) and I am reminded of you both. Looking forward to more of your adventures across our beautiful and diverse country.
After waiting for so long finally another video to watch. It was nice to see you guys passing by CLOSED TO ALL TOURS signs as if it was almost invisible :P
Glad you enjoyed your visit to the DMV. It is a great place, but its nice to go back up to NYC every now and then. The areas you visited were probably so pristine because most of the people who work in those areas live in Maryland and Virginia. Also nice places to live. Looking forward to seeing the other videos of your journey.
just want to say ty for showing me places i may never get to, always fantastic videos, don't feel too sorry for me i live 20 minuets from london and feel lucky just for that
Thanks for showing us around DC - still got to get there and see it, everything was closed due to the government shutdown earlier in the year when I was in NY. Really excited for all these videos ahead and new opportunities with the move to Portland. Keep up the great content. P.S. Loved the format of this one: the speaking segments broken up by footage, had a real cool feel to the video.
So nice to se a video from you two. :-D I was a bit surprised that you where not taught in school that DC was in perfect symmetry, that's what we in Denmark are being taught in history class. 😀
