Very nice 4K video. I looks great on my Samsung 4K Computer Monitor. I live in DC and I know the Georgetown neighborhood very well. I use to work on the Office of Financial Affairs at Georgetown University in the 80's. I haven't walked around in Georgetown since May 2023. I hate they closed the Nike Shop on M Street, NW. Before the pandemic, I use to attend the AMC movie theater near the Georgetown water front at least twice a month. Native Washingtonian and 16th Street Heights DC Resident
Thanks for showing Georgetown. Wish you could show more buildings, shops, restaurants, the landscapes, less people's backs while walking to showcase the area. Maybe shoot the other side of the street more because of the narrowness of the sidewalks you don't get to see much other than people when you are filming walking down the street. When you stop to cross a street maybe pan around some. People should know the attractions to the area. Born & raised in DC spent a lot of time in Georgetown. The house where the original Exorcist movie was filmed is in Georgetown. Area has great history.
I'm kind of interested in who gave you the permission to videotape this how did you get the license usually people's phones always get shut off and there will be a prompt that says. " for security reasons"
Thanks for watching! Thanks to so many pioneers you can now make awesome vids like this. Check out some of the gear I use on my video descriptions. 😊 🙏
Good job! You in the richest part of DC. Billionaires live there in Georgetown. Obama got a house up there that cost $Million$. So does Jeff Bezos. Yes the Billionaire of Amazon and the WashingtonDC Post Newspapers. The cream of the crop is right there where you filming. That's the HOLLYWOOD of WashingtonDC. That's the ManhattanNewYork of DC. That the Saudi of WashingtonDC. They got all the Power up there. Yes about as much as that WHITE HOUSE Joe Biden live in there. DC richest folks in Georgetown. Named after 1st President George Washington. Yes POWER then and POWER now
Yes, wealthy people live in Georgetown the history has not always been that way back when street cars ran thru but everyone has always gone to hangout in Georgetown at some point the shops, clubs, restaurants, movie theatres etc., Halloween night.
You are exaggerating and Georgetown is not the wealthiest area in Washington, DC. Former President Obama and Jeff Bezos lives in the Kalorama neighborhood in Washington, DC, not in Georgetown. The richest neighborhood in Washington D.C. is Kalorama. Nestled in the heart of the city, Kalorama is an exclusive neighborhood celebrated for its elegance and historic charm. Home to embassies, stately mansions, and expansive townhouses, Kalorama attracts high-profile residents, including politicians, diplomats, and prominent figures. With tree-lined streets, a serene ambiance, and an average monthly rent of $2,819.00, Kalorama is the single-richest neighborhood in Washington DC. Georgetown is the second richest DC neighborhood. If you're not a native Washingtonian or have lived in DC for a period of time, please don't give out the incorrect information. Native Washingtonian and Ward 4 DC Resident
@daddygrace253 It may not be the richest but don't any poor or lower salaried folks live there. Houses in regular neighborhoods of NE DC where my family home is & NW are well over a million and a half dollars. In Georgetown they are well over 2 million. So you are pretty well off if you live there. That isn't the highest priced & there are other higher priced homes in other areas but Georgetown is definitely a higher income area. I am a native, Washingtonian born & raised.
