They used the stairs in the days after the recent Earthquake and we walked down them in 1967. I just couldn’t remember the setup of the elevator back then. I guess the stairs were closed to tourists in the 1970s.
Ohhh Wow, that would have been super cool to have seen them that way. From the elevator one could only get a quick glimpse as they raced by. Thank You Again For Sharing!
