Any sensible and careful individual will easily know that guy called Kwam is outrightly arrogant, careless and ingrate when he talks most times, that's why he can't bring other Fuji musicians together and allow Fuji to reign . More so, to me Kwam 1 is never a musician but just a singer.

"Don't take things the way they were surfaced". Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, being the first person to carried Fuji's glory did not mean he was the Fuji creator. Likewise, being the General Overseas (G.O) did not make someone the founder. Historically, it was a collective decision to divert and renamed Ajiwere music and Sakara music to Fuji music. Some agreed and some do not agreed. But only few musicians like Ayinde Barrister, Ayinla Killington, Epo Akara (slightly), Ayinde Wasiu, Adewale Ayuba, Rasheed Ayinde, Sawura, Musibau Alani, Tajudeen Ishola, Lata Ilori and others (unpopular musicians) carried the Fuji's glory and made it popular, but not Obesere, Alabi Pasuma, Saheed Osupa, Alao Adekunle (Malaika), Sulaimon Adio (Atawewe) and others. Categorically, Wasiu Ayinde should not be the third person to Sikiru Ayinde, because there were a lot of unheard Fuji musicians who were seniors to Wasiu Ayinde. But I think Wasiu Ayinde knew what he was saying, because Wasiu Ayinde was very closed to Sikiru Ayinde. However, Wasiu Ayinde needs more points to buttress his facts. We should not judge anyone because of love we have for Sikiru Ayinde Barrister.

Wasiu failed woefully in elaborating his point, which was, "Were" was not created by Barry but yes, Barry changed the name to Fuji to make it more commercially viable. That is the point K1 was trying to make and he was also throwing shades @ Barry for crowning Osupa king. Too many kings in Fuji , not kool.

Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde was the originator of Fuji music and dance. He is followed by Alhaji Kolington (Alatika). As a matter of fact both were stage setters of the music. Wasiu Ayinde went to studio to record first followed by Kolington. I am still a fan of both. RIP Ayinde. (Ti oba fe jo Fuji reggae ore mi se owore bayi). I do not want to comment about the nay sayer. Money indeed has missed road. Humility is a gift that comes with great rewards.

You people are just trying to rope wasiu Ayinde. What K1 said in flavour is not different from what Saka danfo is saying. K1 said "iba awon to ti un lu fuji lati ajiwere" the word "ajiwere" has explained the kind of music these people were playing. Never forget he mentioned Dauda epo akara too, and every one knows that epo akara kind of music is "awurebe" but K1 mentioned his name because he also did weree. Later, he mentioned SAB that "ori e sha ni ere ti yi pada". Simply means, it was from Sikiru Ayinde Barrister turn that weree music turned to fuji music. And you people should not forget that, K1 has said this before SAB died. Where many of you were getting it wrong is "iba awon ti o ti un ko fuji lati ajiwere" you expecting him to say"iba awon to ji weree" but the truth is weree is what brought Fuji music and that is why you can't disassociate weree from Fuji music.
