I was at this show and it was great. Wasp fan since ‘85, INDIANS fan since about ‘75. As if I didn’t already love Blackie enough, he goes and does this…. PREACH ON BROTHER BLACKIE!!
The Cleveland spiders changed their name to the Indians because of a player that everyone loved who was native. Changing from the Indians to the Guardians is insulting
I went to this show. It was unbelievable how good wasp is….. it was so good that I went the following night to Pittsburgh to see them the following night at another sold out show!
About time one of our heroes from our metal rebellious youth is actually still carrying the flag. In the vast ocean of woke musiciams that USED to stand up to the establishment (I'm looking at you Dee Snyder and Sebastian Bach and most everyone else) it is truly great to see one or two of our heroes still actually question and challenge what is forced down our throats. That is metal. And good to see some defenders of the faith still remain!
This is the perfect time to cancel the cancel culture. Keep wearing your Cleveland Indians shirts, jerseys, hats etc. Refuse to use the new name, don't even say it or acknowledge it. Cleveland Indians and Washington Redskins baby!
Lol champ nothing gets cancelled it just becomes more popular... Being honest though, your hyper emotional reaction does not help either. Try and keep the hashtagger reactions out of it bud.
@@rockenOne I think you confused hyper emotional with just an offhanded comment against cancel culture. I think you give yourself too much credit skippy.
Off-handed comment? Not exactly. Blackie ended up exactly as we all knew he would. The Kevin Sorbo of hard rock and a parody of a parody. Just cover Stryper already.
I'm not Native American, but I do live in a state with lots of tribes and tribal lands. I have many friends of Native American descent. They think these team name changes are B.S. too. You see them wearing Indians, Chiefs, Redskins, and Braves all the time. Now they're pissed about NOT having the logos.
I'm sickened to see the woke nonsense infesting this great nation by a determined hateful and racist movement to erase Native Americans' history and images.
I will speak for myself cause no one else can speak for me. So you're one the 20% natives who disagree with the name.. Omfg this team had this name for over 70+ years and now natives want to cry about it now. Omfg get over it maybe focus on more native issues than a football team name.
I'm Ojibway and been a WASP fan since 85. Just because Blackie's cool w it doesn't mean the majority of us Natives are. He wasn't even raised in his culture so of course it wouldn't bother him. Blackie needs to visit bordering rez towns, or better yet, actually go to a rez to see that racism is still alive and well. Stop giving people a pass to degrade us. Do better, Blackie.#NotYourMascot
I love the new woke team names. Mostly because I love the anti-woke people angry. I could really care less about any sports name. Call them all the Harvey Weinstein for all I care.
Wow...wait until Blackie hears about a band called WASP who had a crowd favorite song call 'Animal' but the lead singer made them stop playing it for 30 years because of something he read in an old book. #Hypocrite
I say unless you own the team that's none of your damn business what the name is. You want a team named the Indians go put up a couple billion dollars and start your own professional sports team.
Sorry to break it to you Trumpers, but Blackie is as liberal as they come and a Democrat! He's also completely wrong on this issue, no one is "caving" to anything, this was voted for by the Native American people. So deal with it!
This has nothing to do with Trump... Trying to make it about someone that you don't like doesn't make you cool, Just makes your argument desperate. Alot of Native Americans didn't care about Chief Wahoo, This wasn't voted for by the Native Americans, It was a back door deal between Dolan and the MLB to get the Allstar Game if they changed the name. Fact is, Chief Wahoo stuff is still sold at the Ballpark... Gotta keep that copyright.. If they the Native American People was so offended then they would STILL continue to pickit for that fact.
