This is a beautiful place, early morning is the perfect time, very nice, as always great background informations😊🇹🇭🙏🏼many years ago, I was invited for lunch from monks there inside.
interesting spots in Wat Pho that tourists often miss are paintings about foreigners in Siam in the northern and western vihara chapels. there are pictures of westerners and Asians in 17th century costumes.
Was there in february, thank you so much! Coming back next february, already booked😊want to leave the hotel always in the morning to explore more! All good wishes for you and your family🙏
Thanks Jeroen! Always good seeing you. This video felt very personal to me. I took my mother to Bangkok back in 2016 as she was a Buddhist. We stayed for 11 nights (before moving on to Siem Reap to visit the Angkor Wat complex) and visited so many beautiful temples. What a luxury to have the whole place pretty much to yourself! Next time I fly to Thailand, I’ll take your recommendation and be there first thing in the morning. Could easily spend a few hours wandering around a temple.
I visited the Museum of Siam about 5 years back and they were still building the MRT station, in those days it was hard to get to this part of town. Great video Sir
Dat is nog altijd zo.De Thais mogen altijd gratis binnen op een tempelcomplex.De Falangs of buitenlandse toeristen moeten betalen.Maar het is het waard en niet te duur
