I was bullied as a child and it really hindered and harmed my development. I went on to university and developed an eating disorder because I couldn’t cope in a social environment with new people because my association of people had been built to be that of cruelty and sadism. Really disappointed in the line of questioning from the panel apart from the guy from N Ireland as he was the only one who’s questions made McCall squirm. They allowed her to take over and run the show and waste time by rambling on. I’m an auditor so used to things similar to this and most of this panel were far too soft and almost scared of her. No real evidence supplied, all good talk from ITV and hearsay. Policies and procedures all all very well but were they adhered to?

So if everything was fine, nobody knew nothing, there wasn't evidence... why the runner was asked if he had a relationship with Phillip 12 times?? (minute 11:14) And at the minute 17:10 she called the runner "the child was present"... they knew it and they covered it! And if the runner is using Phillip's lawyers to help him, we will never know what really happened... Minute 19:30 she says, "everybody who knew something could anonymously say something", well Ruth and Dan did it and you didn't listen either! Minute 23:18: why would you continue providing the runner care even after leaving ITV? I wonder if they care so much about all the runners that work for the show... ITV is so generous! They really think that we will believe them...

What I can't understand is why was 'person x' receiving 'a whole series of duty of care' support because of rumours even when they have accepted that the rumours weren't true and person x himself has told them they weren't true.
That is, I get that he needed the support because he was so upset by the intrusion, but their 'duty of care ' should have led them to a much more serious investigation particularly as they were 'alledgedly ' paying for taxis for person x to travel to the studios from Phillip's flat on Friday mornings. Did they not query why he has to travel in from Phillip's London home on Friday mornings when he obviously would have travelled to work, under his own steam, the other 4 days a week. Do all junior staff get taxis paid for to come into work?
I think it was pure luck that this producer took pity on the runner and kept in touch with him - which they are now saying was part of their duty care package.

Hogwash. She refers to an escalation 3 years ago but took no real action. I can't listen to this whitewashing, they too are guilty by proxy. Who does the hiring & firing on the programme? We know Schofield exerted pressure as so many suddenly left. He came out because the teenager tried to sell his story to the newspapers. This is not a grilling or even an enquiry, many people from the show complained & were ignored. Why wasn't a private eye hired to get to the truth, they were seen out together regularly. Sack them. Why was the teen moved to another show without reason. Self serving politics to maintain the status quo. Sack them all.
I keep going back to an Oscar discussion panel led by Piers Morgan where Joan Collins said she was confused as to why Phillip had suddenly come out as gay as ‘we all knew for a long time’ (sic). Perez Hilton started to tell her of rumours of inappropriate behaviour but was cut off by Piers. So at the very least it was known for a while that he was gay. There is footage of him having a meal with the young man when he looks under 18 by a RU-vidr called Jack Jones celebrating a million followers & he has recently said Phillip begged him not to air the video as it could ruin his career! Something is not right & I can’t believe that Holly ‘his bff’ didn’t know. This runner appeared on stage at an award show- surely that’s not usual?

The surveys conducted...where is the physical evidence/ proof/analysis of these surveys? If Person X stated he was a family friend, why was this not looked into thoroughly/checked and confirmed before appointing him- considering his young age? Kyla in one breath states she did not speak to person X but later contradicts herself. Why is Caroline Dineage chair of this meeting? Does this lady have responsibilty for the Online Safety Bill? How much is this costing TaxPayers? Why is this getting 'looked into' by our MPS and not a Public Independent Body? Why are the MPs not putting their attention on vaccine harms, illegal migrants etc? I’m only watching Netflix, Amazon Prime and social media, sometimes Channel4 and Channel5. I do not think I’ll support a system I consider deeply unethical and careless when it comes to mental health. It’s so obvious what they’re doing. Why no mental health professionals were involved in this inquiry? Why Bullism is never discussed with politicians and corporate leaders in the presence of psychologists, mental health experts or counselors? Experts in the field of psychology who can describe bully/toxic behavior and its impact on people from a professional point of view, to make sure that problems are properly dealt with and not hidden or ignored hanging onto duty of care corporate procedures? ….So sad …

Video headline is wrong, it is not grilled but word should "ITV CEO coddle by MPs". Where is the harsh questioning? ITV management knew when the "person x" was being ferried around scum PS home and around the city on their dime. Any competent company will keep a tab on their financials else they deserve to go bankrupt, also when person x was "promoted" when the scandal was about to be exposed the first time means that company wanted to keep a lid on it.

Give examples of other runners who were given show reels, work placements and a place on the stage at awards ceremonies. I suppose they can't because NO ONE was given preferential treatment like this and the response I wouldn't know just doesn't cut it. What would happen if staff didn't want to work overtime for good will to make a show reel for Phillip's young friend , would Phillip get them the sack. ITV bosses/ producers like Frizell were most likely unapproachable and for some unfathomable reason Schofield was allowed to run the show without recourse. Bosses are gaslighting to save their own skins. Questioning should have been tougher.
I think everybody is making something out if nothing, a lot of people build work relationships, cos they spend most of their times at work, we would all be out of a job if we all gor sacked for that, just keep your romantic relationships outside work and keep it professional at work and everything will be fine!
