That last response from Starmer is so out of context and irrelevant to what was being discussed prior, he's really sounding like a broken record already.

I used to watch these guys debate when I was preteens / early teens and I enjoyed it, nothing much has changed since, now i’m 18 and watching this video I feel a sense of suspicion about almost everyone in this room. Like they’re hiding corruption, they are also hiding behind masks of innocence and virtue signalling alike. There are alot of people in parliament who don’t deserve to be there. People who are meant to represent everyone from the working class to the rich kind. The poor, working class to the middle class is the range that needs the most attention but they seem to be unable to help them, especially on the lower scale.

I think that’s quite cynical. I have met a few MPs and they’re almost always there for the right reasons. A couple of bad apples (particularly in the previous government) but overall they’re doing a difficult job with good intentions
