Looks sleek but lets see how the battery works first - I just returned my second Nano X due to a defective battery (turned it on straight out of the box and the battery percentage was draining like it was a countdown timer, exactly like my first one did) am now going for an S Plus instead.
@@tlufo eth is crazy but bitcoin isn't the answer either. Costly and sloooooow. Something like Polygon is better. Transactions in seconds and fractions of a cent in gas
@@Kingme3144 USDT is almost in many things so sure. I generally use it via ETH which is fair. But even over TRON it's very instant in my experiences. I hold a lot of it in UDST in eth network however
@@corbinduncan1272 yeah musk doesn’t deliver on schedule but that won’t matter much a decade now when he’s like a trillionaire and most of his companies have delivered products/services around the globe. 😂
I’m curious to understand more of the lifestyle around it. Like can I use it to buy stuff with? What happens if it breaks or I lose it? But with FTX collapsing a really nice physical wallet would for crypto be nice.
You're on the right track! Yes you can use the ledger with a phone or computer to transact with coins. Having a Ledger wallet and your coins in your Ledger wallet means only you have access to your crypto. And if it breaks or is lost, you have a back up "secret phrase/passcodes" that you can recover your wallet from.
Hardware wallets are just normal wallets that can only be accessed with the physical device - if you have any experience with your own hot wallets then your experience shouldn't change *that* drastically, the wallet can be restored via the 24 word backup phrase (similar to most software wallets)
Battery life. There's no reason to have color, it's just to read transactions and approve them. Only thing that would be negative is showing nfts in Grayscale.
Every financial goal requires patience, dedication and consistent spirit knowing that investment is currently the most lucrative business in the world, both NFT, real estate and Crypto shares are really positively changing people's lives.
Please share this: What they don’t tell you when you buy a hardware wallet is that your crypto can be confiscated and frozen completely and arbitrarily whenever you try to trade between coins. I had 20k stolen by their service provider “changely”. It’s a complete scam, and they don’t tell you their “terms and conditions” until they steal your money
Honestly, my guy Tony tried too hard to be Steve Jobs. He did the narrative build up and the history lesson. Even did the product unveiling by taking it from his pocket. But the actual product, while cool, wasn't revolutionary or mind blowing.
Yup & that is what they want to hear from you ppl so they can design another one with color & charge you again. Come on its 2023 soon & they are still doing this greedy bs mindset to suck ppls money. They can definitely do a patch to add color & reduce brightness etc to save battery etc but they won't because they have a agenda to max sales.
So I assume all investment in the Stax means the creators don’t think that the governments of the world are going to crush the crypto industry via regulation to make way for their CBDC’s?
I came here to learn how to invest after listening to a guy on radio talk about the importance of investing and how he made $460,000 in 4 months from $160k, somehow this video has helped shed light on some things, but I'm still confused, I'm a newbie and I'm open to ideas.
It is possible to produce superior performance provided you do something different from the majority. However most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest position in the market to the cost of proper diversification.
Having monitored my portfolio performance which has made a jaw dropping $370k from just the past two quarters alone, I have learned why experienced traders make enormous returns from the seemingly unknown market.
@@wilsonbrown8993 Interesting, I have a lump sum doing absolutely nothing at all in my bank account, I wanna get something started with it. You seem to be doing excellent for yourself, how do you achieve this?
And why an app on your phone can’t do that? Don’t give me security jargon, cause we currently trust them with our bank accounts and every valuable info.
Cuz some people DON'T trust their phone with all their valuable info There are hundreds of apps that can do this, but none of them are cold wallets The whole point of a cold wallet is not having your private keys in a device that can access the internet/be hacked
No app on your current phone would be as secure as a hardware wallet. However, I can promise you that within 5 years that all new smart phones will be redesigned to incorporate a hardware wallet physically in the device as the base technology of the device. The phone functions will be layered on top of the wallet. Ledger Stax looks like a precursor of the the merging of hardware wallets and smart phones.
Bank accounts are insured up to a certain dollar amount, crypto isn't at all unless you give your information to a centralized exchange. That's the premise of defi, no middle man and privacy but you're responsible for your own security. If somebody hacks your crypto on a defi platform there is no getting it back. If somebody hacks your bank account or an email etc you can regain control of it because the middle man still essentially owns it.
A lot of crypto doesn’t have use case but the ones that do that are working with central banks and Fortune 500 companies designing CBDCs, remittances, implementing blockchain, and cross border payments and other stuff will come upon us!!! No stopping it.
What? The fact that this might not sell well because it’s basically another phone 😂. I think it just might be before it’s time honestly. If crypto is the future I think this wallet is a little before it’s time.
@@-TheMaskedMan- it’s not before it’s time, it’s just an unnecessarily extra gadget to carry around. It would be more revolutionary if it was integrated into the mobile phone, contrary to what they say
Hey look we designed a wallet with no color because we are going to be greedy & make another upgrade that has color so we can charge you again because that is what you like. Customer: Hey why don't you do a firmware update to add color?...
This won’t get a new flock of people onboard. I am sorry, nothing against the guy but the iPod didn’t kill the mp3 players single-handedly, you forgot the iTunes Store.
$300 is a small price to pay when you have tens of thousands of dollars worth of crypto. Would rather buy that than leave it in an exchange and potentially have nothing If the exchange goes bankrupt.
I like it, but I feel like there’s one aspect they didn’t talk about. Fragility. Hardware wallets aren’t windows into a digital world, the currency is on the device. A fragile wrap around screen, etc. Is it ideal for holding hundreds, thousands, all my money? It needs to be bulletproof and findable.
Basically yes. Your browser/mobile/desktop wallet can easily be hacked if a malicious someone get access to your devices. Cold wallet can technically be hack (at least some of them) buuuuut good luck with that. One thing that they share with all the other wallet is that you have a recovery seed in case you loose them . That has to be kept away from harm somewhere really safe.
