We did some power mods like.
TSP Tsunami 235/240 .629/.615 112 LSA Cam
PRC CNC ported heads,
FINISHlINE (1000 +HP) Extreme duty 4L65E,
3200 Yank Stall converter,
Full stainless exhaust, one piece drive shaft, energy suspension bushings, drag bags,
And some maintenance.

Man it makes it nice to work on your cars when you have a damn lift lol ! Nice video man I’m currently doing a lot of these upgrades on an 06 GTO that I just bought 👍🏼

Yeah it definitely would be more challenging without the lift. This was a friends car but I had an 06 I wish I still had it.

This car had so much power it would bust a 4l60e if you really drove it hard. It ended up messing up the engine because the oil pan on the gto’s starves for oil under acceleration. So if you make your car fast watch your oil pressure when you accelerate.

I sure wish I had a lift and garage like yours 👍😎. Taking out the rear subframe is such a pain in the ass. How are those Texas Speed heads working out? I got some built LS3 heads and LS3 manifold sitting on my parts shelf. I’m debating on just getting my LS2 ones tricked out like you did. I have a mild cam, forged rods & pistons, new crank. Engine is built for spray. I get zero traction being a 6 speed. It also doesn’t help that I have 3.91 gears. Anyway, nice goat 👍 I bet it will put down some nice numbers and 60 foot awesome. I recommend you get a XAIR intake and a IAT breakout harness. Vararam is also a decent intake.

The car still hasn’t been tuned but gets loose even at high speeds. It keeps braking sprag’s in the transmission. I’d say the heads are doing pretty good. Although my local machine shop gets heads done and looked way nicer than tsp. We put the stock 3.73 gears back in. It will be back for more mods. I’m not sure what a brake out harness is?

Yes we do need a brake out harness. We have an intake that is supposed to work with the stock ram air hood, but it don’t. We also have a nice glass hood here, for when I paint the car.

If you like replacing bushings once a year put in poly bushings! Cnc ported heads needs polish before install

Soon. It’s at a friends shop getting some wiring fixed and some electrical upgrades. There’s a bunch of things happening with it soon as I get it back.

It’s a full stainless exhaust with headers magnet flows and flow masters with bevel edge tips.

I could have done everything in a week if all the parts were here. But this took a couple months to complete.

Not really sure how to answer that. this question is very open ended. The cheapest way to make good horsepower on one of these cars is to put an exhaust a tune and nitrous plate on and they really wake up. As far as cost A reputable shop cost anywhere around $500 to tune. Exhaust varies depending on your area and you could do a pretty nice nitrous system for around $500. That’s all pretty easy stuff that you can do yourself.

Depending on how you look at it. To have a car making that much power for however much those things go for not really. But on the other hand yes there’s over $10,000 in aftermarket on this car. Between parts and labor.

I’m not sure how much the transmission cost, it’s a finish line. I think they go for $3500 new. And we bought the rear diff for 600 freshly built. As far as the drag bags and nrg bushings i’m not sure the owner ordered all of it and sent it to me.

I have that same setup but my transmission was acting up on the dyno I don't know how many hp I have because of that.. Looking to replace the transmission. How many hp does that car has?

It was making 450-ish on the Dino from what I am told but if it hooks on the street it blows the Sprag in third gear. So I don’t have much faith in the horsepower ratings on any 4L60

@@darylcampbell5952 Which parts are you looking for? We bought the transmission used and rebuilt it. We bought the rear diff from Facebook marketplace. And everything else he bought online and sent to me.
