@@alliebeautytv uh oh😮 lol what tone did it eventually look like on? I have the powder & hydrating foundation in 370 but the powder seems a bit dark / red.
I am a 330 in Fenty foundation. I bought 1st 320 powder foundation due it gets warmer I ended up buying 330 to compare the two. 320 powder foundation works great as a finishing setting powder. And 330 powder foundation I can use in the summer. They both work and I love them. Notificationbeauty 😘
Awesome! I’m glad you didn’t have to go through too much to get your shade. Hopefully this will help another beauty out! Appreciate you! #notificationbeauty! 🥰🤗
Shade undertone descriptions can be so horrible & for some reason, they're off on the Sephora website. According to Sephora, 340 & 350 are described as cool neutral, but Fenty says 340 is warm bronze & 350 is warm neutral. I think Sephora copied over the descriptions from the liquid foundations not realizing the powder foundation is different. 🤷🏽♀️ I've been on the struggle bus with Fenty since the foundation launch. I've tried 330, 340, 345, 360 & 370 with NO LUCK. I thought I was 330, but it's too light. Seeing 350 on you gives me hope because it just might be perfect. I'm glad you found your perfect shade & you look fabulous!
Right!! I wish they would hurry up and fix the descriptions already! I tried 3 shades and honestly if my subscriber didn’t tell me to try 350 I would’ve given up after the first 2 I tried. I hope you find a shade that works for you. I know how annoying that can be. I wear 370 in the liquid matte. It’s not a perfect match but it’s as good as it gets for me. Hopefully that can help you with choosing your shade. Thank you! 🥰
@Allie BeautyTV I started with the Soft Matte liquid in 370 & it was soooo orange. I then tried 330 & liked the undertone, but I thought it was a touch too light. When 345 launched, I thought I had a match, even though the olive undertone scared me. I played around with the sample & swore I looked green when I wore it, so I settled on 330. I even bought the Hydrating Foundation in that shade & mixed them. After three tries, I also bought the powder in 330. Recently I was in Sephora inside JCPenney & the MUA (who lives & breathes Fenty) described me as a golden neutral & said 360 was my shade. I swatched some on my neck & it seemed to disappear, so I went to a full Sephora to get samples of both liquid foundations. I mixed & applied, only to look washed out. I want to book a virtual consultation on the Fenty website, but there are never any available time slots. I was ready to give up when I found both of your powder foundation reviews. Fingers crossed it works for me! 🤞
I am 350 liquid but just bought 450 in powder. The stupid girl in de store advised me that but she has no clue...she used it as a fixing powder. Seeing these reviews..makes me think I bought the colour way off my real shade. I can't return because I bought it in France and it's a 5 hour drive from my home...pfff
@@alliebeautytv Yes, I did find them to be weird overall. I never did find a great match, but I had fun playing around and got into some other brands. I do love the Fenty Beauty skincare though!
How weird is that? The 350 'cool' shade is warmer than the 360 'neutral'? This is the reason I have yet to buy this powder (or any regular Fenty foundations). I can't determine my shade. Thanks for the review.
It’s super weird and annoying honestly and usually I would just pass but this is one of my fav powders to use even now so I would say it may be worth it for you to try a shade or two in the store. I’m in the Caribbean heat right now and it’s been my go to. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching! 😊
@@alliebeautytv The 350 on you looks great. Thanks for sharing this helpful information. I just ordered an olive undertone shade 345 -- I just hope I got the right shade.
Is it really?! I don’t know what’s going on but on the Sephora website it’s described as “for tan skin with cool neutral undertones”. To be honest warm neutral makes a lot more sense.
Lol I look half dead eh?! People really walk around like that though unfortunately because they don’t understand undertones. I’m really hoping this video can help someone not make that mistake. Thanks for watching! 🥰🤗
