WATCH: BKO Gives Warning as Pres. Buhari Tells APC Governors to Allow Him Choose His Successor

BKO has warned APC against imposing a presidential candidate after the successful conduct of PDP's primary, their strongest opposition.
He shared his reaction after stories emerged that President Buhari met with state governors in the APC, soliciting their support to pick his successor.
BKO warned against such a move, saying "President Buhari doesn't have the power to determine who succeeds him", and that "power resides with the ordinary voter(s)".

@@pauloladimeji2514 you got it all wrong sir Tinubu didn't create any conducive environment for the Igbos, ndi has been in Lagos way back before Tinubu was born, eg Sir Louis Ojukwu started his business in Lagos around late 1920s and earlier 1930s and became a great and successful businessman. And some of my late uncle who should be in 100s if they're still alive, they too became very successful in Lagos as businessmen and that was around 1940s. So Lagos has been a business hub even before now because of the presence of the white people who landed first there and many other factors like ocean which made so easy for business has been there before Tinubu was born so, he shouldn't take credit because before Abraham Jesus has been there.

Thank you. Buhari allowed all of them to buy the form, and he had someone at heart. Tinubu chose his successors, but he didn't hid his disapproval from others who were interested from the onset. Do you see the difference. When Tinubu brought Sanwolu, he had said it from the beginning, and if you purchased the form is left for you. Know this, I am not supporting Tinubu, but, let's us differentiate issues. Buhari is an hypocrite. He travelled now, the way he travelled when people were purchasing forms for the party chairmanship election. It's wrong.

For your information BKO, the reason PDP adopted that voting pattern is because they are in opposition. APC is the ruling party. It's always the president that will choose his successor. Obasanjo did the same thing in 2007. Peter Odili and others spent money campaigning round the whole country. But Obasanjo asked all of them to step down for Yar Adua.

Infact he tried to justify Buhari's action by saying - the president only asked the governors to allow him choose only the party chairman, while they can go sort the other positions out. BKO never condemned it and I felt very disappointed with that episode. I wonder how anyone would think this same president would now freely let go of selecting the party's presidential candidate of all positions. The President knows what he's doing pls, he wants to choose a weak candidate that can't be a match for Atiku so power will remain in the North for another 8 yrs. It's no mistake but a game plan. Remember all regions rejected Fulani heardsmen and remember they're all over the country and so be safe wherever they're, they need continuity in leadership, pls let's all think properly. That's my opinion.

People are now beginning to know quickly the tricks and intrigues of the Fulanis in politics. Buhari will surely like a fellow Fulani man to replace him as president and continue the Fulani hidden agenda. In view of the above, Buhari will surely appoint a weak christian candidate from the south, so that Atiku, his fellow Fulani, will win. With that Buhari will feel doubly happy that a Fulani succeeded him and that he did select a southerner, as many expected him to do. That is the Fulani political wizardry. The pundits are waiting and watching.
