He should have did what the white cop told him and them explained what he was doing instead of give the white ego minded cop a reason to show his big white azz supremacy muscle and badge compared to his little black one. I don't think he should have been fired. He could have started the interaction differently. As an officer, I do know that the blue line don't cover us black officers.
The black cop was nice and polite, never meant any harm, he just needed help changing his flat tire, but the other cop came off rude, didn't want to help the other cop change his tire. That kind cop deserve a promotion, he seem like he would make a good chief.
How do you pull someone over who is already pulled over and not moving because they have a flat tire? How do you give a warning for using the phone while operating a motor vehicle when the vehicle is not in operation and the driver is not driving?
I'm trying to figure out why the cell phone was an issue, he wasn't driving. Also, he was already stopped, they pulled behind him, so how is that a traffic stop?
It seems like he was trying to say he was going home so possibly he was driving on the flat and on the phone. But still, you would think there would be some level of understanding especially among fellow cops.

They made sure to fire him and mess with his pension rather than let him retire as they do with their killers that go on to other departments, while also suing for wrongful termination.
They had to send a clear message to the rest of the Black officers. That message is this “keep quiet or else.” That was the message. Racism at its finest. This case is not an outlier either. They tell us to join up and be a part of the change we want to see, then we get treated like dirt when we do.
You would think a cop would see someone with a flat tire and on the phone and think "Maybe they are calling for help.". But no, cops go insane. Just like that Sow that threw the kid on the hood of her car in cuffs and tasered him screaming "You want it again? I'll give you something to cry about". What happened to cops that would actually help change a tire or get a tow truck for a person who's car is broken down? Why do cops see a broken down car and automatically think "Suspicious activity, crime is afoot"?

if you apply context from the video, one can assume its illegal to use your phone while behind the wheel in that County. So, it became a traffic stop which he did have to provide id. At the end the officer said he is issuing a warning for the phone
This stinks to high heaven. I’m a white guy and that black police officer got screwed. I truly believe the white deputy sheriff was a jerk. How in the hell did he get fired is beyond me.
