Leading is a heavy job, and it's not for sissies. For those who have forgotten. Dan Quinn came to Dallas and rejuvenated a defense that was down and out. Give him his flowers. Even in Atlanta, it was the lack of talent that caused the team to no longer be competitive. I believe that if you give him the players he will take you places. I'm glad for him and so grateful for his service in Dallas. God bless him and his family and the Commanders.
It was also bad hires, an outdated scheme and some bad decisions in crucial moments that resulted in 28-3. Rooting for him, but there were things that led to the downfall of that Falcons team that Quinn definitely could've helped. We had LaFluer, McVay and McDaniels all on the same staff and DQ didn't want to promote any of them. Instead, he hired his buddy Sarkisian, then scapegoated him and made an even worse hire in Dirk Koetter. He needs to make better hiring decisions if he's gonna be successful. He IS the guy that assembled that 2016 staff, though, and I think that is a huge accomplishment.
I agree. He helped take the Falcons to the next level after taking over for Mike Smith. He made the Kyle Shannahan call which took us to the super bowl. Unfortunately he made some questionable calls in that game which blew the 28-3 lead. Best of luck
I was so excited to hear that they hired Dan Quinn and now that I hear him talk I am seriously impressed with every answer he gave, GREAT HIRE AND GREAT COORDINATORS.
Josh Harris knows what his strengths are and where he needs help. Ownership is there to see the overall picture of the team, and he’s going to allow DQ (🏈 Ops) and Adam Peters (GM - FO) to do the job they were hired to do. Unfortunately not every team operates like that… As a Dallas Cowboys fan, I’m expecting the Commanders to be competitive next year under DQ. Good luck 🍀 to you all.
@@Swole1mfer1112Multiple times he choked. Once on the biggest stage and just this year in the playoffs. Must be nice. I definitely picked the wrong profession 😂😂
He is blood and guts. Hope he and his staff are strategic enough and that Peters makes the right personnel moves. That all has to come together. No Trey Lance mistake.
Thank goodness for Arthur Blank.. "😒" Gzzz. Good luck Dan Quinn, Rooting for you to win big, hopefully see you in the playoffs but the Bowl if we there is ours..
Eric B was not a good OC. And it was not just the tools he had. He never adjusted. He just kept calling the same offense over and over again and scoring less and less pts. Yea, bad Oline and Sam regressed. But that's also on him at least partly. No, Eric B needs to go.
Well in order to bring it back to the way it's supposed to be you would have to change the name back but I have faith in you as a head coach in your organization that the right thing will be done
Welcome to DC. I'm so glad you are here. Commanders team need help. Dan Quinn will lead the Commanders to win NFC East Champion and get to the Championship game this season snd Super Bowl this season. Commanders team need to focus on winning football games this season after their hiring Offensive and Defensive Coordinators of this team. They are working together and winning. Let's Go!!!! Let's get it done this season.
2. Jayden Daniels, unless Caleb Williams is available Jayden us the only logical selection here. An absolute weapon who just needs a line to play behind. 36. Ideally the situation would be to slide back into the early 40’s and possibly acquire another top 100 pick. I believe if Tyler Guyton of Oklahoma is available he would be a really solid selection. Players like Troy fautanu and Graham Barton would make excellent guards however there are a few guards in free agency ( Kevin Zietler is a name for example, who could make an immediate impact at left guard and possibly do it for 2-3 years. Guyton would be an immediate starter at right tackle and an experienced guard in San cosmi would pair well with him. A secondary possibility would be to shore up the backend of the defense with players like Tyler Nubin or kam kinchens. The free safety play has been awful for years. We could also consider a received here if someone like Keon Coleman, Troy Franklin, or Adonai Mitchell was available. Big vertical threats. Open field Speed and red zone play making ability. 40. Depending on the situation at 36, and whether or not there is a trade heavily dictates this selection. If a trade happens and we pick again after 40, the best thing to do would be take the best o lineman on the board at 40, and go for bpa at the second pick. If a trade did not take place and we select a tackle at 36, a guard pairing Is the most valuable pick for future sustainability. With stromberg, cosmi, and two possible rookies to pair it would be a great young developmental group to hopefully resign and have for a long long time. 67. This is a selection that is very critical, we could end up with a linebacker or a guard. There are a few young men like cooper beebe who may be available here. It may be a reach for him which is why linebacker or receiver is appealing as well. Though if we did select a receiver 36 is the place to do it. It is unlikely these players will slide and be available but it would be ideal for the franchise to bring in two linebackers this offseason. Whether it’s a splash signing like devin white or a prototype like Patrick queen, someone needs to improve and be an upgrade to the crew of Cody Barton jamin Davis and David mayo. Junior colson, Payton Wilson, Cedric gray, edgerin cooper, are all athletic linebackers who I believe would make an immediate impact in our defense. There may be a few dynamic receivers like brenden rice as well. Another good receiver on the outside opposite terry would pair well with Jayden in an air raid system. Curtis Samuel deserved to be resigned on a lower number. He was crucial on third downs the last two seasons. That being said with dyami brown consistently dropping balls we need a burner who could secure the ball at a higher rate. The receiver class is extremely top heavy as is the oline class, so the two second Round picks are very valuable. The possibility to turn those into 3 picks, or another home run first round selection I believe is critical to the future development of the franchise. 100. Best Player Available at edge, corner, or tight end
Looks like he'll end & bringing his ex Cowboys staff, just like rivera and his Panthers Buddies. Can't end well, but should still be just about better than rivera's hire. 🤞he does well. He's good around players and motivator, which Rivera wasn't
