I never saw any E3 footage of anything back then, so when I played this game I fuckin loved it without knowing about the whole Graphics Downgrade. Still love it today, probably my favorite game.
Kinda shows how easy it is for negativity to spiral out of control. How people will feed that fire until it consumes everything. Sad that anytime someone says they like this game, they have to write a disclaimer acknowledging the negativity first. Ppl can't simply say "I like this game."

@@dr-johnnysins ive seen a lot of ppl saying that aiden is just a cringy edgelord, he's trying to be batman, so on and so forth. Usually the games everyone hates are the ones that i play bc most often those are the games that are actually good and ppl are just too afraid to form their own opinions
Funny seeing so many people come back after all these years after they really saw how poorly the video game industry could get, and now come back and enjoy. Because watchdogs is awesome and bad ass. I still think it has some of the best gameplay and animations. The story wasn’t bad ether, if anything the game became a horror game as its reality seeped into ours. We’re all connected to ctos sadly. See you guys on the streets.
Recently replayed it, I think it has some of the most badass killing animations I've seen. Criminally underrated game, and such a cool concept as a whole that really doesn't get the credits it deserves. It's more so on the developer's fault that it turned out the way it did.
Ive played it when it wasnt much popular at the time where watch dogs 2 was at its peak and i loved it . Ive repeated it 8 times and i have roamed around the map alot
You know this game got a lot of hate. I get why it did, but I enjoyed it and that's what matters in the end. It was a fun and unique game to me. It didn't have an amazing story, but decent enough for me. It didn't like like the advertisements pre-launch, but it looked good enough for me. Was I disappointed? Kinda. But that didn't hold me back from enjoying the game in the end :) Also this soundtrack is awesome.
This song is so badass and the game too i dont care about the ones who hated this game it is still an awsome game for me :D the only bad thing was the driving physics
+Megadoomable I'm just playing it and i have to say, that Watch Dogs does 2 things better than GTA in the singleplayer: the story and the fact, that the story shows you the map, unlike GTA. And the driving physics are indeed worse than GTA's, but the drifting works better.
The only game I ever played both back to back (good and evil). The online hacking, fucking with players and getting them chase me was so god damn addicting; haven't had an experience like that since 2014. REALLY have great memories with this game.
lol I was listening to watch dogs music, but while I was I was looking through steam, and this song was playing as I saw watch dogs was finally there ha ha, it was so epic as the music progressed and I saw screenshots and was looking through the preorder bonuses lol

I don't understand why people get so mad when an awesome like watchdogs gets delayed. let me ask those people a question. Which would you prefer? Watchdogs being released earlier during 2013 as planned and probably a glitchy game with bugs and not much content or it being delayed but get a game that is really fleshed out, no bugs or glitches and has tons of content.
I really love reading old comments because it makes you realize how much has changed since then. Taking time on video games was a thing of the past. Now it's all about how much money can be made off of micro transactions.
that moment at 1:16 reminds me one of those epic moments where the villain or protagonist comes out of the store in slow motion, with that "sir walk" and decides to put some glasses whereas there are like 50 cops and a helicopter , saying freeze but no the protag put the glasses on and with his phone he connects into the helicopter( don´t think is possible but..) and the heli out of control goes against the cops and right away jumps minute 2:34... oh man we have control of Aiden, Aiden gets cover cops are shooting but Aid is covered behind a car..... wooow big action time lol :)
I think everyone went a little insane when this game came out. Sure it was a noticeable downgrade, but graphics aren’t everything, and to me, this game did so many other things right, that I would honestly consider it one of the most underrated games to come out in recent years. Fantastic story, characters, gameplay, world, and tone that even its sequels couldn’t seem to get right. I will always cherish my time with this amazing game.
For real i mostly appreciated the game and the story more than the graphics and i didnt mind playing with those graphics at all and i also has a laptop that runs games on 40 fps and it still went really good
We have to make Ubisoft make a Remake of Watch Dogs That would be the coolest thing since it is dreamed by the majority and I am waiting for that moment to come, otherwise we have to wait a little more 😂😂

Lol maybe that's because you have a shitty pc (or you could have AMD, they had driver issues at launch) And you must have a very terrible monitor as well, because this game is beautiful.
locobastos Oh man you must be an idiot, you do know this game is CPU intensive right? a 560TI / 7850 can run this game at the highest settings as long as you have a CPU that is powerful enough. A/w i have been messing around with the settings and with some other OC settings and i can run it fairly well now at 60fps with some small frame drops and some big to 35. Also it doesnt matter what video card brand you have the game will look the same.
With how complex the world of the game looks, I think that it would have been better if they could afford to do a whole mini TV series in stead of a movie. If Aiden weren't the main character in the movie, and he jsut shows up for moments perhaps, I wouldn't have any doubt that the movie would be amazing, but with how complex of a character he seems to be, I dunno if a two and a half hour (max) film would really get across the character development needed for a good story. But I'm still excited,
original is better, there's literally no difference in this besides the fact that at 1:17 it literally sounds like it was ran through audacity and filtered 60 times.
Here's a good one - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: The Movie. It's Japanese but it comes with subtitles and boy, it is spot-on! :D Check it out, it's great even if you're not familiar with the Ace Attorney series.

Batman man, he hardly has anything electronic, and he can still get Aiden from a gargoyle. Aiden can hack anything true enough, but Batman is the goddamn Batman, this should be answer enough.
