there are horses every day of the week being pulled especially in Ireland its a disgrace and jockeys or trainers found guilty should be given a life ban people are putting their money on horses and have to be trying or the game will die

Good ole Betfair Eddie. The best judge of all when it came to laying horses to lose on Betfair. In fact I think if memory seves correctly he also rode them as well. Was hugely successful at it for years until it became an obvious embarrassment to the industry.

No commentary and no explanation so I've no idea which horse he was on or even why I'm watching this!!

Watch the claimer race, 2.30 Dundalk, Friday 20 March 2020 for, in my and many others opinion, an obvious fix. Trainer had two in the race for the same owner. Yuftan was 2/5 fav in early betting and 17lb clear on the formbook of his next highest rated rival, stable companion and early 2nd favourite, Tony The Gent, who in turn was 10lb clear of the rest of the field. Both had form/run well over the distance. The latter had been unlucky in his previous race. So a two horse race on paper where the Yuftan should beat his stable companion into 2nd by at least 8 lengths, who in turn should be 5 lengths ahead of the 3rd. It's not like there were a lot of runners to cause problems in running... By the start of this race, one could see what was going to happen as it had now become obvious. Yuftan had drifted out to 6/4 2nd fav whilst Tony The Gent had been backed to odds-on, 10/11 Fav. The race itself also attracted the attention of many, including the stewards whom have referred the matter to the IHRB. Yuftan was slowly away and held up at the back of the field. On the turn for home, where the cut away is, a wide gap appeared but jockey did not take that route but tried to go through the pack and got hampered several times. In the final filing a gap appeared and Yuftan went through but was not hard ridden into 2nd place. I observe many times where trainers and runners, and/or owners second string beat their more fancied, usually higher rated, runners. And these are in non- handicaps. But the issue has got worse, especially in Ireland where, in my opinion, it happens frequently with interconnected famiy connections now. When racing resumes I may just ignore races where there are connections. Because of my work, under normal circumstances, I place my bets the night before so am usually unaware of any unusual activity. I'd rather miss a winner than be turned over by a fixed race. The stewards have to be more aware and not afraid to issue justice. Just because it happens with some high profile names does not mean they should ignore the circumstances. Though I agree they need strong evidence. I remember back in the 1970s and 1980s certain trainers and jockeys were often interviewed. I am looking forward to the IHRB findings into the Yuftan race.

Just watched this race not sure what he done wrong ?? the winner went off just as fast as Judgethemoment and was in 2nd place all the way round, about 3 to 6 l behind for most of the race. he took it up stayed on best and won. Are they saying Aherne did not ride his mount out ??

it'll never be stopped for 2 reasons, 1. you cannot guarantee 100% a winner but you can guarantee a loser, hence trainers, jockeys can make certain money which has been made many times easier for them since the arrival of exchange betting, 2. something still has to cross the line first and the majority of punters don't or will never know which horses are not trying or deliberately being held back from winning on a particular day and its these peoples money who believe they are BETTINGFAIR (pun very much intended) that is going to the corrupt bastards who know the horse they are connected to will 100% NOT be winning on that particular day

the only time this horse won over 2miles was when he went off at a strong pace and had the field stretched and got away from them .that day was frankie dettorie could it be they tried to do it again ,but as you can see the horse was going no were

Whenever you see a jockey look over his shoulder in a sprint race, you can guarantee he isn’t looking for dangers

Just 2 more points, I looked at the betting for this race 5/2, 11/4, 4/1, 15/2, 10/1 Ahern 12/1 and 20/1. So who would back 12/1 ?? I looked back over Judgethemoment's last 7 races and he was placed as follows 7/11, 7/7, 11/11, 5/5, 7/9, 11/11 and 13/15. So i ask u who would back this horse ?? NOT me.

didnt look like he was setting that strong a pace shows at end of race other horses running in strongly .the horse had shown no form before the race .not good enough evidence to condemn the lad

Believe it or not that horse was a Royal Ascot winner, but by this point of its career he was down in class six company and utterly hopeless. No jockey could have won on it.

sorry mate but didnt go off that mad set a good pace ,if it was such a serious pace how come the rest finished so strong and weren't out on there legs because unless i watched diffrent race they werent that strung out .and have we heard what trainers orders were dont think so ,all to often the jockeys are riding to there orders

This horse can barely lift his feet when they start passing him. If you ban the jock, you may ban him for going too fast if contrary to the instructions. But where he stops, the horse is a dead animal.

This horse hadn't run well for 2 years, getting beat by a mile in most races. Its wins had been when making the running so it was the only way to ride the horse. It only ran once again and was well beat. If anyone backed it then more fool them!

I have seen many rides like this horse goes from the front until tired that`s it. Barney curley`s Horses runnning like this all the time after a long layoff .you never know what the order was from the trainer ! like go out blaze the trail and don`t be hard on him if he is tired . I thing ruin somebody career for this not really agree with it .Kieron Fallon`s ride on Bollinger ridge was much more a disgrace I thing and he did not get 10 years !!
