Nico.. would you ever consider sponsoring the ULSTER GP. Think about it PnP official time keepers of the Fastest road race in the world and it's a local event ✌🇮🇪
“I don’t trust anyone who’s nice to me but rude to the waiter. Because they would treat me the same way if I were in that position.” ― Muhammad Ali You are a God tier of a man Nico, much respect.
“Would’ve been good for the channel but…” I used to watch Nico because I love watches and Nico made it entertaining AF. Now I’m going to suggest him to people because he’s got God Tier integrity. Dude is willing to lose viewership (money) over treating others right.
@@davidpalacios6116 Noo fucking way!! I didn’t even know it had so many likes bro like wtf jajaja thank you David I will for ever be in your debt 🙌🏻🙏🏻🤣
exactly!!! what a shame Nico! I was thinking about it already from the title. Anyway, love you said "you cannot trust people that are rude with waiters" love you for that. Thank you. From a waiter will probably never afford one of yours timepieces
The Lewis Hamilton - Hamilton lawsuit is quite different to how it was portrayed in the media. LH wanted the legal to use his name “Lewis Hamilton” on all manner of goods, including watches. Hamilton (the watch company) sued first saying it would infringe on their copyright for LH to do that. After that, it’s common courtesy to countersue, even if your intentions aren’t as they seem. The result of the lawsuit wasn’t as black and white as articles read. By losing his pseudo-lawsuit against Hamilton, he was granted the legal guidance that “Lewis Hamilton” was in fact different than “Hamilton”, and no reasonable person would confuse the two. I’m sure Lewis had very little Involvement in the whole ordeal as it is.
This is so crazy. Some people really believed that a this man would sue a watch company that existed before he was born over the Hamilton name. Thanks for clearing it up because people are idiots mate.
Leclerc has been with Richard Mille for 10 years now and just recently had a special helmet featuring the the watch designs on his helmet for Millie’s 20th year. Leclerc has had multiple helmets in the past with the crown of the helmet being the Mille watch face itself
Fair play to Nico for calling off the collab with supercar blondie, a lot of people would’ve just took the clout and put up with the husband being a bellend
Nico I just want to commend your humbleness and humanity on the part where you said that "you can't generally trust someone who are rude to waiters." 100% up for that! Cheers for a great mindset and humility.
Danny was spotted on Ellen wearing a 5271, Charles with a 5990/1R, Lewis with 5740 and another 5980/1R. Verstappen has been seen in a yellow gold Daytona on Oysterflex as well as a Royal Oak Offshore and potentially some rose gold Nautilus but the one photo is hard to see.
I almost died with them rhymes.. LMFAO "Nick you prink! ....You don´t argue over water .. dick!!" Nico you´re a LEGEND mate! Keep doing your thing because we love it!
@@aircommandslipperz Senna wore a Tag Heuer s/el chrono which was quirky but quite cool. I know what you are saying but they both iterations have had their moments 👍
@@mitchellwolf69 thank you for saying that, I know in the watch world tag gets a bum rep, but I love their classics like the Monaco and Carrera....cant deny class
I love how he didn’t do the video because of how rude they were. That’s true class right there. Like someone else said, you can’t trust those who are rude to waiters.
I’m now glad I laughed in her husbands face at Monterey car week this year I saw him filming a video and when he finished I asked “what’s your RU-vid channel” and he said “supercar blondie” and I just laughed and walked away hopefully it was a bit of a reality check
Nico great video as per usual , quick correction. Lewis wasn't suing with Hamilton to stop them using "his name ". The Hamilton company filed a marketing patent in Europe so nobody could use the name. Even tho Hamilton as a racer is no way infringing on Hamilton as a watch group the litigation was around being able to use his name which is his brand. The haters painted the picture like he was so big headed to suing Hamilton watches which is ignorant. Was just simple business around copyright use of Hamilton in Europe.
Charles leclerc is actually a Richard Mille ambassador and Richard Mille sponsored him throughout his junior career until f1 where he had to wear Hublot due to Ferrari being sponsored by them and obviously because he drove for Ferrari
You hit the nail on the head when talking about drivers having their own collections. Theres been a lot of fan photos of Max in the offseason wearing a few different Daytonas
Okay, first time ever commenting on you tube and I want to say this: 1. I binged watched about 30 videos in a single day 2. I still don't know why he hates so much hublot 3. Just want to say that his energy in the videos is just contagious Edit: I think I got the answer... overpriced? Edit 2: "- Why wouldn't you buy Hublot? - It's fashion watch for people with more money than sense"
Nico! Love your videos, bingeworthy. One note I have, I would put a small window of your facial reactions WHILE you're watching the videos in the bottom corner along with your responses. It's much more intimate and people love you. I've noticed all the larger streamers do it. Cheers, thanks for the great content!
Charles is sponsored by RM, so he wears his own RM (a specific one made for him). He wore that Hublot because Ferrari were sponsored by Hublot at that point.
IWC is the sponsor of Mercedes, Tag Heuer of RedBull, Richard Mille of McLaren and Ferrari, Girard Perredaux of Aston Martin, Bell & Ross of Alpine team, Casio Edifice of Alpha Tauri, Bremont of William's team
I’ve never been into watches until recently since I’ve found your videos. Awesome job dude. I now want to get a Cassio G Shock and a Rolex when I retire
Nico, Carlos is racing for Ferrari only from 2021.They were sponsored by Hublot until 2020. Now they are sponsored by Richard mille. Love from India. 5:49
The intro about Max couldn’t have aged better 😊 we witnessed history being made, AMAZING. Max isn’t only a Dutch hero anymore, he’s a worldwide hero ❤️
Maybe a video about billionaires watches, the lesser known ones as well (Abramovich, Kulczyk, Arnault, etc.) I would love to see that! *ok maybe not Arnault cause LVMH is the owner of Hublot xd
Massive respect when it comes to pulling out of the shoot since the guy was a douche. I used to work in Dubai as a waiter in many 5* restaurants and the way we get treated sometimes by wealthy guests is insane.
Celebrity watches and stuff is fun, but i would love to see more content about how you run your business and what your daily life is like surrounded by watches
The Lewis case is very different from what you’re saying. It was Hamilton who sued him first and then a counter sue. Bro you literally just read the headline and went it. Also why are you introducing the drives with video of their crashes? It’s that weird or is it just me?
Hey there Nico! slight correction, the Hamilton lawsuit wasn’t filed by him but rather by Tommy Hilfiger as a way to avoid lawsuit issues in their future brand Collaborations. Love the vids Nico!! ❤️❤️✨
For me alot of the Richard Mille watch they have is from the sponsor bc alfa, McLaren and the others have Richard Mille as their sponsor so i think they got it from Richard Mille it self Edit: forgot tag Heuer too
The Rolex day date was my all time favourite for years and still is up there but the Rolex Skydweller took its place in my heart. After them I'd say AP for me. RMs and Pateks don't do it for me. RMs don't have the History and Pateks are a bit to feminine in my opinion but hey I can't even afford a Casio G-Shock so don't mind me.
Nico had the most modest mindset in his line of work. This is the type of Man you want to spend your money wit not Bc you have to Bc you want to real that’s respect.
Fun fact, drivers aren't gifted the watches by the sponsors, the drivers have to buy them with their own money and they can only wear the ones which sponsors their teams. So if the team(something like mclaren) is sponsored by brands like Richard Mille, the drivers can only wear Richard Mille which they bought with their own money.
No, not how it works. Away from the track and media events, you will see them wearing whatever they want. On TV, they are handed the watch their (or the team's) sponsor wishes them to wear. Do you really think a driver like Mick Schumacher who only makes 1 mil a year is going to pay 500k for a Cyrus watch just to wear for interviews? And then have to buy another when they update the model? Hell no, they have to pay HIM or the team for that. And there is no way in hell I'm buying some grossly overpriced RM junk when Rolex or Heuer will give me a couple mill to wear theirs instead. I think you are thinking about the fact that what these drivers are wearing in the interviews often is not theirs. It belongs to the watch company and is given to the driver just for that interview, then taken back. If the driver wants it, yeah he would have to buy it but they are not forced to, no one would agree to that. It's kinda like jewelry at the Oscars, that stuff is on loan to the actresses, it isn't theirs.
Kym Illman, an F1 photographer recently posted a video showing that the watches these drivers wear during race weekends do not even have the correct date/time. So you are correct in saying that the sponsors just slap on these watches during interviews and take them off later.
You are my hero! Let me share my mantra about Nick with you! "some people think they are chilled champagne in a tall glass when actually they are warm piss in a non-recyclable plastic cup."
