It's all a bubble. With near zero interest rates in 2020, the wealthy could literally print cash and didn't know where to stuff the cash. We are starting to see the popping but in 2025 you will truly see the bubble burst. Once we go into recession and that is an inevitable fact proven by history... the market will temporarily bottom. The short-term traders will get fucked and whales will accumulate again.
@@tyarnold4088 extremely likely, they are risk assets in the end stage of a bubble. Zero % interest rates created the bubble and global recession will pop the bubble. Are they going to be cheap? Of course not, but the days of endless gains, day after day are already over. Watches trading at 100% premium is not normal and will implode just the same as every other asset in that class.

Idk if your comment is rethoric , but a brief answer is: RM produces a very limited amount of watches per year, and they have incredible high manufacturing standards. The watches often have complications while being able to resist high G-forces, making them ideal for athletes to perform with them (Golf swing, Tennis swing, etc) There are multiple other factors related to manufacturing. However, pop culture has played a HUGE role in RM's perception by the public, and this increases demand, which allows the prices to sky rocket. I might've missed a few things, im not an expert, but hopefully, that answers your question😅

My only gripe with g shock is for the money on the nicer ones in the I wished you got sapphire glass instead of quartz especially for being advertised as a tough rugged watch. You don't get that unless you're dropping a relatively substantial amount of money on a g shock
I think that just because it is advertised as a tough rugged watch they won't put sapphire glass. As I am aware, sapphire is more ressistant to scratches but will shatter with enough force, and mineral glass won't as easily. I've never had any problems with scratches few of mine

I have bought and worn a lot of dress watches over the years, Cartier included. I like how they look, I’m not an overly flashy guy, but initially it was as I’m a lanky English fella with a lot of prison tattoos on my wrists and arms and they just looked better on my wrist than a 38/40 ml plus watch. It’s not so much been about anything other than what tends to suit my wrists and how I chose to dress…and yes I’ve wanked plenty and no it didn’t help.

Tyler the Creator’s true watch of choice is a Casio MQ24, the same $15 watch Pope Francis wears. I bought one too and it’s so lowkey that people rarely ask about it, but when they do my face lights up because I get to tell them that ridiculous fact.
