I think releasing Nnamdi Kanu and giving him the mandate to obviously end the madness is an obvious solution. The court found him not guilty of any of the charges and even said he should be compensated to the tune of NGN1billion. You cannot be disobeying your laws and expect the rascals to be obedient to the laws. Subjudice isn't an issue here, if we must all speak up about a lasting solution.

The solution is clear and simple. For what are understood it's a Government and tribal political war. The Government should be hold responsible for what is happening in south east because they know what is happening in south east. I can tell you that some regions in Nigeria are jealous of south east, south east used to be a very peaceful region who only seek to be free from intimidation of Nigeria, ever since they succeeded in holding Nnamdi kalu they have been using it to execute their plan to silence south east and the people of the region from growing. Mr Kalu, if the issue is criminal in nature, then the Senate should approve State, LGA, City, and Town Policing. The unitary police structure is totally useless and only creates and courages corruption and ineptitude. The Nigeria Police should strictly handle Federal crimes and investigations. The Senators are missing the point. The issue is not Simon Ekpa. The issue is Nnamdi Kanu. The Government should release Nnamdi Kanu and the sound of gun will cease over night in the SouthEast. The only solution to this problem is for the Senators to resolve to advice the Federal Government to obey the Court ruling and release Nnamdi Kanu. Apart from the above, I doubt any other solution will stop the manace going on in the SouthEast of Nigeria.
It's only MNK release that can bring peace instead of wasting money on security and life. The criminals also want the release of MNK because they have soft-spot for him. Once they see that MNK is released they will stop the madness. The court of appeal has discharged and acquitted MNK, why is he still detained. The senate need to focus on his release. MNK has been acquitted by a competent court. Why is he still in jail? The Federal Government is in Contempt of Court and must be addressed by arresting the offenders and sentencing them to prison. Secondly, all relief measures (monetary) awarded to the victim must be fully implemented. Adios.
