So today evidence of testimony of people testifying that trump wanted to deploy 10,000 national guard and set up a rapid response team for Jan 6th and it was rejected by Nancy Pelosi came out, that the Jan 6th committee suppressed the transcript and deliberately omitted them from the record, this is why Donald Trump has never been charged for insurrection.

Under Article 2, section 2 of our Constitution, the POTUS is Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces, including the National Guard (NG). It was Trump's duty to deploy the NG to restore law & order. Pelosi had no authority to deploy the NG or refuse to deploy it. Trump refused to order the DC NG to restore law & order at the Capitol, because he approved of the insurrection. Trump is a traitor. That's why the armed forces were not called in to quell the insurrection.
