Great debate, this is how a democracy should be, no shouting, no cursing no slogans no butting in middle of someone's speech/questions etc... Lot of lesson to learn from Meghalaya Assembly for the rest of India 👍👍

honourable CM please appointed another sport minister really its very ashame for the of meghalaya having such a minister who does not know nothing of his own department and instead he always try to make fun in the house if he cannot answer the question its really a big disgrace to the house.....
We are proud to have excellent legislators like Mr. Shangpliang. We need more well-educated and well-spoken legislators in our state like him. Some legislators like the Minister of Sports will certainly need to improve their understanding and knowledge and will need language classes to bring them up to speed to the level exhibited by our Chief Minister and Mr. Shangpliang.
The minister of sports does not deserve his place as a minister, he loves sports? Really? If ministers were selected on the basis of their love for sports then there should be at least 1000 ministers of sports, he should know something about sports, a minister should be aware of things in his department, such a shame
Sad to see a King have to shield his Bishop from the enemies 😔 what can we expect more when our state is being running by such a minister who is not at all aware of his own responsibilities..
The effort of Mr Shangpliang is commendable. He has done his research and he raised important questions concerning sportspersons. Sports Minister should have been more prepared. CM Conrad is a saviour, as always.

Ok, I really didn't know Mr shangpliang is smart. Thought he was just another minister lucky to be elected. Quite impressive, thanks to this video, atleast now we know the difference between smart and "I require notice" kind of ministers.

Tho i m not from the Great Meghalaya but feel proud to say you have a wonderful Govt. Whether it is opposition or Rulling. The C.M alone cant do anything it is his party that makes him great + the opposition who is always ready to answer not only question! This is govt of meghalaya for the people by the people. It is worth watching. 🙏
As you see, in the media the sports will be always in the back side of the newspaper or in the last of the telecast, in the year 1997 I represented from Sacred heart boys hss twice and 1998 once from St.Anthony's college in the swimming competition. 3 times I hold the record of Best Diver, I got only the medals and certificates but no recognition from the government to persue my carreer in this profession. But thankfully to the UCC college which I got a chance to work there as an instructor in swimming from 2011-19 as part time job on contract basis.
Shame on this sport minister.. Last time also he made a joke of himself during session.. He doesn't deserve to be a minister if he can't even answer a simple question regarding his field..

As sports person I really disappointed by this minister 🤦 Since I play basketball I never seen for high amount of cash for winner of basketball in Meghalaya. In Meghalaya highest paid for winner is only 30k for 3x3 champion and this is not organize by Govt. Nor sponsored by Govt. Really shame Meghalaya. There is no scope for basketball players in Meghalaya. I have seen many other sports for higher cash like 1lakh or 2lakh cash price but basketball organization sucks 🥺🥺🥺 I played for my district I played for my state, I played for some Meghalaya/Shillong's teams but I never seen more than 30k cash price in Meghalaya. So, how do we expected to grow in sports in Meghalaya??? It's impossible 🥺

What is there to be proud that they can speak English??? Hindi is our national language and English is a foreign language. Rather not knowing Hindi is a shameful thing.
