This is how we transport our brand new V120 blades from Dafeng, China to Torozos, Spain.
Stacked five tiers high on board the largest deck in its shipping class (larger than a football pitch!), the 156 blades will be the first V120 blades to be manufactured and exported from China and installed in Europe. It's also the largest number of blades transported on one vessel ever.
The shipment is expected to reach the Port of Ferrol by mid-February.

So I am just guessing but I’d bet that “ship” doesn’t run on wind power or solar 🙄 How much fuel did it take to ship those?? If their was no more petrol for these big machines how exactly will they be transported??

Vestas could perfectly make those blades in Spain, or at least in Europe, but instead they make them in China. In the future, when Europe were empty of industry how are we going to pay for China manufacturing?

Environmental control ( FGPE material ), cost effectiveness, HSE -OHSAS ( polishing process- powder ) . I believe these are the key factors why the factory is in China.

Nicely done from a transport point of view. But industrially and environmentally it does not look quite right, manufacturing these blades in EU would probably keep jobs and avoid burning tons of fuel.
