This man has no idea how much he is loved and appreciated, the suns tirade saved my life…your music is more than just your depression/pain/anxiety/etc….it’s ours too
I can’t believe how many people survive their dark days and dark episodes in the life with Shad albums)))) the house is burning just saving my head and my life 🔥🔥🔥
Met Zay at a meet and greet, he so humble and down to earth. He really didn't think we would like RIP YOUNG. I asked him, he said he don't know if the music is good until we (the fans) hear it. Album been on repeat since it dropped.
@@andrecallender9437 same here. He had tweeted after the album dropped that he didn't think we would like it so I had to ask him. I wish I could have recorded his reaction. He foreal didn't think we would like it. I was shocked 😂
@@EduardoCruz-yc9ww I don’t needa chill I was jus laughing at how u boys romanticize having “deep conversations” with random men u don’t know like shit u can’t jus have a regular ass conversation with a dude 😂😂
It’s good hearing an artist be so honest and reflective regarding their personal problems…This life thing ain’t easy but finding ways to express the hurt, shame, and glory of it all through some form of art is therapeutic for not just the artist but for everyone who experiences it. Hope zay keep up with sobriety and keeps making timeless music!
i’m so proud of this man because he just don’t know how many people that rock with him that he’s helping, he really out here giving niggas like me hope. helping niggas stay optimistic. i love this for him he deserves so much
This brought me to fucking tears, the transparency is what I pride myself on and I promise you, I will have a song with this man, whether he hears my shit and realizes I’m not fuckin playin or I have to pay him, this is a literal dream of mine and to hear and see him explain this all on top of being by family that can be the hardest thing to be around, this interview absolutely solidified him as my favorite artist. You the goat zay
I got Zay tatted on me cause he helped me through my depression and I cannot wait till the day that I get to meet him and shake his hand. I first listened to "The Sun's Tirade" at 16 and fell in love with the demeanor he brought to the table. He's helped me through it all and I cannot thank him enough for blessing us once again after a smaaaall hiatus of 5 years
Man, salute to Isaiah he gained a superfan this week. I was sleeping on his music but after some deep diving im 100% a fan. TDE is really tough their entire roster is solid!
watching the fader "obey your thirst" interview then watching this is such a beautiful thing. the growth is evident, and it is not stopping any time soon. Isaiah's development as an artist and as a communicator of thought is truly magnificent.
While Zay isn’t it the best rapper, and I know he hates comparisons, but I wanna say he is one of the best artists when it comes to expressing emotions. His feelings, emotions, and vibe is shared through his music. His creativity is displayed through the difference and new style with each album, and each vision he has. Overall Zay has always been my favorite music artist since I first heard of him.
@@brianbaldwin6459 he’s one of my top 5 as well, but I meant like he’s not one of the best rappers to exist, if that makes sense. To me Zay is more than just a rapper, he’s a poet. And that’s why I say he isn’t the best rapper because he’s more of a poet than a rapper
That ending scene was gold. His pop talking about how hard it is to share Zay with the world? Beautiful. I never met Zay but his music makes me feel as if we’ve been brothers forever. Salute Zay!
Wow he made this album mostly sober. Proud of Rashad man. Been listening since pieces of Kid in the 8th going into the 9th grade. So glad I discovered him.
I met Isaiah Rashad in Oakland and he was just so down to earth, humble.... his music has made such an impact in my life, you dear sir are loved and appreciated ❤🙏🏽
this needs more likes and views. been listening to zay since he was rapping with his lil brown skin homeboy, that vid of them rapping in the crib.. give this man his flowers for the progression and continued success. country roots man, I can appreciate the candidness of this interview
His mom is an amazing support for who Zay is. Never mind how much they look alike. They TALK alike! Her wisdom bled through to him and influenced the way he is. Beautiful! There’s gotta be a movie about this.
I remember the first time I heard his music..was on the BET Hiphop Awards show..I was hooked!!...didnt want to listen to nun else...then I listened to Cilvia Demo...then his mixtapes...and I was like maaaneeeee🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥...THIB was worth the wait...I listened to the Suns tirade for 4 yrs straight...and it never got old..thats how you know his music is timeless!! I have never met him personally.I hope it happens..I'm from Ghana, West africa..and his music has changed me and ma brother's life..I'm so grateful!🔥
zay talkin about his father really gettin to me, appreciate u opening up about that G. I had those same struggles growin up. u blossomed into a beautiful human, bless u for blessing us.
Met him back in 2014 for his show, such a humble and well spoken dude ! Coming from a fan that has been here since Welcome To The Game to now is just beyond this world ! Thank you, Zay. We needed this 🙏🏽
When Zay came to Vancouver like 4 years ago we liked up early and he took the time to shake everybody's hands and THANKED US for attending! He talked to a few of us including my brother! He's so down to earth man and I'm glad he's getting the recognition he deserves.
So glad to have Zay back on the scene with new music, new album has been great, I love it. I just hope he's here to stay and hope we don't have to wait another 4-5 years for more music. I don't think Zay knows how raw & talented he really is
Been a fan of Zay since the day suns tirade dropped and can say bro has flourished into an even better person than he already was. Seems like a down to earth guy!!
Isaiah rashad was right when he said that is scarred about Famous make him don't have time to talk to his family... advise: don't let Famous change your faithfully with friends & Family
Geez, this was so relatable on so many levels.Biggest take aways for me were love those who are always at your side,to aid and support you. It's ok to make mistakes.Learn from those mistakes. Don't matter how many times you fall on your ass but keep getting up. Believe in yourself. Darkseid has been on rotation this week, "Whatever gon keep your mind blown, my nigga maintain the wheel"
This is dope 🙌🙌🙌🙌, they are each other reflections Twins & he gets it from his mother & his pops has so much wisdom, I was waiting for this !!! Thanks Zay
I feel exactly what you're sayin Zay Sr. I don't thank you enough for your contribution so sir I thank you for raising this boy into a man. And Zay I just wanna let you know that anytime I'm feeling like it's me against the world I just put on civilia and shit I'm still breathing ain't I? You helped me get sober brother I know you don't realize but you have changed lives of so many real mfs out here and I thank you to the grave my brother 🙏🏼
If my memory serves me correctly, both I and my homie went to see Isaiah perform live when we were in the eighth grade, when Clivia Demo came out. From my perspective, Isaiah was talking to the crowd instead of being in the back eating like usual superstars would do. After paying close attention to Clivia Demo and that outstanding experience, I've become a massive fan. He's got my admiration daily.
