Back in the 70's Department of Labor created hyphenated Americans by creating statistics for African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, etc... goal seemed to divide Americans into groups, the change in Project 2025 is just Americans, get the government out of dividing people by statistics, save money because there would no longer be corporate compliance with Department of Labor & Statistics. Not neccesarily. Project 2025 can be implemented by numerous executive orders, rules imposed by federal departments, (especially those that are influenced by cabinet members), and conservative-run state, county, district, and city governments. If anything, Project 2025 is specially aimed to be actionable on day one of a Trump presidency by bypassing Congressional protocol.

They are assuming that they will win both houses and the White House. It's really a complete take over of government. Changing most key positions to political appointments. Even if they lack a full takeover Trump can replace all of the heads of each department with MAGA appointments. That's not want they want entirely as they need to replace every manager and leader at all levels with MAGA. Just having the head of the department can fail as staff may challenge some actions. Career Civil Service employees are what they want to eliminate and replace too. It's a 180 day roadmap to take over the government. Will not work if they don't win the house and Senate. Like you said Congress has most of the power and funding and only congress can change some laws and regulations. Normally when someone wins as President all of the down ballot candidates win too. not always. Trump actually lost his first election by 2 1/2 million votes on the popular vote. But we don't use the popular vote. If Trump won the popular vote and lost - he would scream bloody hell! Hilliary Clinton had the most popular votes in history for a candidate that lost. google it!

It includes some really insane stuff like ending the department of education so that individual states would be responsible for their public school funding. This one thing alone is incredible harmful and would result in millions of American children receiving bad educations simply because their state officials didn’t budget properly that year. There are also many draconian restrictions on abortion rights and a plan to forcibly deport over 10 million illegal immigrants which would tank our economy and make America look like a heartless police state.
