More About Kohei Horikoshi: Kōhei Horikoshi (Horikoshi Kōhei, born November 20, 1986) is a Japanese manga artist known for creating the shōnen manga series Ōmagadoki Dōbutsuen, Barrage, and most recently My Hero Academia, all of which are or were serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump. Horikoshi is a graduate of Nagoya University of Arts and a native of Aichi Prefecture. He was a former assistant for Yasuki Tanaka, creator and author of the manga series Hitomi no Catoblepas and Kagijin.

It's needed in interpretation and translation to also interpret or translate those kind of things, a chuckle can change a lot in the context of a conversation.

@@e.t.566 Horikoshi's style seems kinda similar to a lot of shonen styles, but with some more emphasis on the eyes and smile. Lots of manga artists have a very similar style, with a few artists really breaking the mold with distinct styles. Some good examples are Araki (Jojo's) and Oda (One Piece).

Sylphlez , sketches are rough or unfinished drawings. Inking is more towards a finished outline look. Ah well doesn’t really matter. I clicked on the video hoping to see how his thought process worked when he sketches, but wasn’t to my expectation

My favorite anime by far. the art style, the action scenes, the characters, and most importantly the way it is written flawlessly done all are amazing and why it's the best. The reason why aizawa looks like hori or why hori looks like aizawa was because horikoshi based aizawas design on HIS insecurities about himself

Horikoshi is so talented his art, and his series my hero academia have really fueled inspiration in me my rp group and i all want to make our rp universe into a show/comic type thing itll definitely have a hero/villain type thing to it, and thats as much as ill say but its really epic i love it so much i really hope it becomes something like my hero academia but thats probably too big of a dream for me at this age
