well I don't know. That ol' boy driving 1190 wasn't the most precision operator I have seen. He thumped that UP locomotive pretty hard. @@therailroadtiespiker Yes, exactly! I'm also glad the conductor on the ground didn't go 'bat guano' that you had a video camera out. He just nonchalantly waved and went about his work. I'm glad there are still some normal people out there. Thanks Chuck,
@@therailroadtiespiker I assume the horn signals went out at the time when radio communications became ubiquitous. When the conductor's requested the train move in a particular direction and the engineer's acknowledged that he'll do that, blowing the horn doesn't serve any purpose.
